Yes - anyone under the age of 18 who purchases alcohol, commits a criminal offence UNLESS as part of Police or Trading Standards (Police only in Scotland) test-purchasing exercise. MS companies would need people over the age of 18, but who look younger.0 -
Hi all. You know how on Gap if you cancel jobs you damage your chances of getting accepted for new jobs, etc, do you get penalised if you just rearrange them for one of the other available dates after you've already booked it?
There are a couple of jobs I'd like, but I might have to switch the day forward or back one day (which are available) after I've booked them, but obviously don't want to do that if it counts against me! Any ideas anyone?Debt at 'ephiphany': £13,500 (March 1st)

This isn't a definitive answer because I've never actually done any work for Gap so I can't say for sure. However, I did have an assignment with them that I had to cancel. When I clicked on cancel it brought up a message saying it is better to re-schedule than cancel.
Really, we need someone who has worked for them to give us the inside scoop!!!0 -
I don't know if anyone remembers, I posted earlier that I have taken on a job with Gap for a fastfood delivery tomorrow. There are possibly two problems with this. Firstly, I still don't know if the company concerned will deliver to my post code - Gap haven't replied to my email, and I doubt they will now it's the bank hol.
Second problem - I have tried to ring the fastfood place to ask them if they deliver here - but no answer! Now, I already had grave doubts about this because I don't actually believe that there is a branch of this company at the address Gap are quoting. It doesn't come up on the fastfood company's website, nor on yell.com, and the fact that they are not answering the phone is ominous. Any thoughts anyone?0 -

I have moved a fair few gap jobs around within the dates allowed to match up with other jobs I have on, and have never had any problems with them refusing jobs, In fact moved a job tonight for a Fast Food place to match up with one for a computer store that just came up.
So as long as you are still willing to do the job in the originally scheduled date range I cannot see you would have a problem!Over 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -

I did 2 of those yesterday, First store was really nice and helpful, and got all the measurements right. Second was a bit of a nightmare. Insisted I was a 34F when I am a 38d there were bits popping out everywhere yet she insisted it was a great fit :eek:Over 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -
S Cat - did u sort out your pizza job, could you see the questionaire better in IE, at least next time you will know if its the right place. When you are on their website, you have to click on delivery menu, then it asks for postcode and it tells you the branch0

I haven't looked in IE yet - been busy writing reviews over on that trusted sites place! I thought I would try IE tomorrow.
I'm not sure if I'm using the fastfood website correctly. When I enter my postcode, it goes straight to a page saying 'order for collection' (ominous) and when I click on that it brings up the 4 branches that I know of in the area - this one that Gap have listed is just not there. I've rung twice now and it's rung for 3 minutes with no answer. I appreciate what you are saying that the Gap questionnaire does not display correctly in firefox, but I assume the bits I can see like the phone number and opening hours will still be correct?0 -
Perhaps the postcode is completely incorrect and the address you have is completely somewhere else.
Go into Google, put the pizza company name and the first line of the address and see what that comes up with, if nothing, try another part of the address and so on!0
