Not excusing the way the manager spoke to you, but he was right. You should have gone and looked yourself and taken it onto the shop floor if it was there. You don't need a manager to do that.

I used to mystery shop!!
Sometimes the jobs were great eg Pizza hut but even then you had to dine at allocated times and eat certain foods!!

Gave it up wish I had not tho!!
I once had to go into Boots and ask about nits!! The worse was that I walked away without a product!! Leaving my kids infected!!
After this I gave it up!!

Just wanted to let you all know, RE are now doing coffee/sandwich/burger visits at train stations. I applied for a BITE card which gives you a 15% discount when you order at certain coffee/sandwich/burger shops at train stations. I've looked through all my RE paperwork and it does not state that you are not allowed to use one of these discount cards. So in essence you get more for your money, not exactly loads, but still, it's a good one. I can't remember what the link is to apply for one of these cards, but it's free. Just GOOGLE it and I am sure you will find it on there. Cheers.0

Need some help with Gap please. You may remember me mentioning the fastfood delivery from the place that (I think) doesn't exist, on a telephone number that is never answered. Well, my timeframe for the job is 4pm-9pm tonight. I've rung 4 or 5 times and let it ring for ages - still no answer.
What do I do? I did email Gap yesterday with a query and they haven't answered that yet. Can I start the report and say no-one answers the phone, or will it not allow me to submit the report like that?
I don't want to get another mark against me for cancelling or not completing an assignment - I think I already have one negative because I had to cancel and assignment where THEY screwed up the dates.0 -
I did a hotel assignment last weekend for RE and put my assignment through when I returned home. I have been checking this week and have not received the points neither is the money showing in my RE account. I have emailed them and tried to call them this afternoon but closed.
Has anyone else waited a long time for the payments to show up ?

Fair do's you've worked your butt off for this pizza job. If the number that GAP have provided you is the number you are calling I don't think there is much more you can do. You've checked the internet and yell.com. I would fill in the report to show that there was no answer when you called and mark it down as a non-reply. Let us know what happens x0 -

Well, I've never done a Gap report before so not sure how it will go, but I'm going to have to try and fill it out!
I guess since this was a no fee job (reimbursement only) I'm going to walk away with nothing - except possibly a black mark on my record with Gap!0 -
Agree with ellie; just mark it as no answer.
Don't worry about a 'black mark', I had to cancel 7/8 jobs with them a while ago and nothing bad has happened!0 -

I wouldn't worry about them marking you down. I've cancelled three jobs so far due to one reason or another and I still get calls asking me to do jobs. Got one this morning actually as someone had cancelled and they gave me a good bonus and a petrol job that was on route to do it. I nearly fell of my chair!!0 -

Thanks! Looks like I can't submit the report. It wants me to put in numbers like what time the person said the food would be ready. This is just on the first page - all I've been able to do is put in the time of the phonecall - nowhere to say it (and all the others) were not answered. :mad:
Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass all this so I can put comments in, or do I just have to send them an email to explain?
What do I do about the assignment? I don't want to cancel because this isn't me cancelling, is it? It's not like I've changed my mind. But if I don't submit a report within 8 hours I'll be in trouble! What should I do?0
