The Mystery Shopping thread - part 5

I agree DeeDee. You spend ages doing the applications and tests and it's all for nothing. They must think we have nothing better to do with our time!
Even the ones who did get back to me often don't seem to have any work at all in my part of the country. I don't mind putting the time in to do the apps if theres a realistic chance of work at the end of it, but if not it's just a waste. It would be nice if they had maybe a two-stage application so you didn't have to waste ages if there's very little chance of work.0 -

Hi Blindman
I asked for a pm cos the last person who responded to Roxy had also asked for a pm. So I thought there might've been a reason back in the depths of previous threads that I'd missed as to why this particular request being made this way.
Thanks for your response though.
That was me sorry - only reason being is that I wanted to mention prices/fees and names which you can't do on the main site. Usually I'd post on the thread as more people respond and you get a good rapport going. Sorry for the confusion x0 -
We've also (almost) diversified into prostitution, with Hollypear giving the best rates it seems

I had a stamp job today and the address I had to send something to did not come up on their system - how obvious do they want to make this? I had 2 staff members asking me what the place was and did I have the correct address etc  Saying that, theu obviously didn't guess I was a MS as they weren't very good with their sales patter they are meant to use :rolleyes:Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

Well I had the dreaded bookie job today followed by a more relaxing Aba-i one.......I kind of hope I don't win the bet - as soon as I walked in about 12 pairs of male eyes just gawped! I went straight past the area I was looking for and had to walk back. Luckily there was a seat so I happily stayed there for most of the time. The staff member was great. The toilets were hideous and were the sort you'd only use if it was a matter or life or death. They stank to high heaven and I feel like I need a right good scrub. And I only walked in and straight out of them!!!
Phew, glad its done and glad DH is coming with me on Sat to the other one. If they want to make females feel more comfortable in bookies, sorting out the loos is essential
I did manage to get myself a nice well paid focus group job for next week though on internet shoppingRight up my street lol!

Roxy - you poor thing, they were probably eyeing you up for other reasons.
I found focus groups really good, not to mention good pay, must get back into doing them. I have just booked 4 MS for on day after gaining confidence from yesterdays 3.0 -

I've got 10 on this month in total - max I could do. Every one I've been too there have only been about 1 or 2 people in there! Was chuffed to beans though - I won the grand total of £11.25 on yesterdays bets. I have a few races on tonight - bet on both sides so as long as they don't draw I'm OK. I also did one of the selections where 4 sides have to beat their opponents and then I win £57 so fingers crossed. I did do one today where the toilets were "not of the standard I would expect". I was afraid to move!! I'll let you know if I win tonight. Off to cinema with my sister tonight - must find someone who does cinema jobs. At least my winnings will pay for the pick and mix lol0 -
if my memory serves me right, marketchecker do cinema's or go to the freebies board - there is a free previews thread.0
