  • My RE account? Sorry I am feeling a bit thick at the mo ;)

Just checked my bank account and yes RE money has gone in so I have a whopping £9 to spend :j :rotfl:

Whohoo - what with your £9.00 and my £3.50 from my betting we could have a wicked night out. Maybe we should get blindman to fly us somewhere expensive so we can spend our earnings lol

Chelseagirl - you'll get used to HP and her humour; a self confessed Lily Connelly - although I'm sure (I hope) she doesn't have that colourful beard!

I can confirm that our lovely Hollypear most definitely does NOT have a colourful beard!!

And as Bryssn is too shy to tell y'all. Her daughter is an expert wall climber. You know those indoor climbing things which you need to be super fit to do.

Well her daughter Natalie is 4th best in the WORLD for her age group and has represented the UK all over the world and goes to Australia soon to represent us again.

So today Bryssn and Mr Bryssn and daughter got an invite to No 10 Downing street to meet Gordon Brown (no luck there then)

So she could MS him. Did he greet them genuinely. Did he make them feel their presence was welcome. I would love to see his face when she answers to what she does. Erm I am a part time interior designer ( says she looking round disdainfully) and a part time MS'er.

It is all splashed over our local paper here.

Aren't we in exalted company. Sincerely though Natalie is a lovely girl and to have a daughter like that sheds great credit on her parents. Shockarooni HP being serious for once.

    Congrats Bryssn.:A

Thanks HP!!! Nat has just walked in and is now rolling on the floor laughing!!:rotfl:
Unfortunately, her dad & I are not invited - it's for selected competition climbers, mountaineers and other people involved etc.

I do think it's a good thing that my hubby is not going to meet Mr. Brown though, as the air would turn blue!! I would like to have a nose round number 10 to suss it out!

However, I think I will accompany her down to London, and maybe fit in a few of the "High End" clothes shops that are always on a certain job board!

She's off to Sydney on Thursday for almost two weeks, and the World Championships are from 28th - 31st August, so we won't have any nails left by then!! The British Team have some good climbers competing so fingers crossed for them all!!!

At least I've got my Paris Mystery Flight just after she goes, so maybe I can find her a nice outfit as the dress code is "Smart".

I wish my French was as fluent as Nat's and then I could do a "shop" there too!

Hey blindman you could be a double agent and get a fee from the Foreign Office.

A sort of Our Man In Havana.

I can picture you cigar in mouth picking up who is who from the locals.

Oh good grief, i just completed the online test for TNS (based on the handbook). It was hard going so i seriously hope it was worth it!
    Anyone else MS for them?
  • Yes. Loads of people do. I find them the best in terms of shopper queries and relations. My local contact Sue is so helpful. And it must have been a tough test cos I don't remember anything about it! My traumatised mind has blanked it out!

They were one of the first companies I registered with, and it took a while for me to get any jobs, but I've done quite a few for them now and they've been really good. Got a few lined up at the end of this month and for September.

So hopefully you'll get something soon!
