Hi all.
Another new MS here, was a we bit nervous to join you all but after seeing the welcome FraggleFan got from Hollypear, thought I would go for it.
My first MS is on Sunday and I would be glad of any tips you have. I just feel like FF, yes I have the adrenaline rush. Not sure If I have done the right thing or not.
From a very nervous MS.
I'm new to it too and my first one was last Saturday.I was nervous being my first one too, but I think the best tip I can give you is prepare well. Go over and over your brief until you know it backwards and it makes you feel more confident. By the time I got there and started talking I really got into the role and almost believed myself I was a genuine customer :T
I was worried I would forget what to say and ask for etc. but good preparation did me well and I hope I don't feel quite as nervous on my next one now.
I am sure you will be fine - it surprised me how easily I slipped into the 'part' Maybe I should have been an actress!!! :rolleyes:0 -

I will get a phone call teeling me that I have won a holiday. I then go to a time share presentation. I do not sign up for anything and I will be given the holiday, I have to claim the holiday by post. i will then go on a weeks holiday. Go to another presentation sign up for the timeshare approx £600. Come home and claim back the deposit. will be given a very good renumaration and expenses.
I am very wary about this any comments
This is the very first company I worked for, before it all went onto the internet, but they haven't been in touch for some years, for some reason. I think they got bored with me. it's this one:

They were fine when I worked for them but I did cut and colour salon visits which were slightly less risky as they wanted me to assess my regular hairdresser where I would have gone anyway... Sounds like an interesting assignment but if you are worried, I'd phone them and ask for reassurance. What do others think? Maybe they could put you in touch with a fellow shopper who has done the assignment, possibly. Of course they may have been taken over by aliens in the interim...Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.0 -
Blimey we are taking over here. Don't be afraid to post we welcome new views and are happy on here to give support. Are you newish to MS'ing or just the forum?
PS Someone asked me for the address of Mystery Guest... I am off to work shortly but will dig it out later.
I'd appreciate this info too, if you don't mind, pretty please!0 -
Please can someone help put my mind at rest? I have just spent 2 solid hours doing a Gap report (problems with the computer and then problems with the report system saying my answers were contradictory, although I don't think they were).
Anyhow, I think I submitted it ok eventually, but I thought last time I submitted a report to them, I got an email straight away saying they had received it, but this time I haven't received any email. Am I just confused here? Do Gap send out automated emails when you submit a report or not?0 -

Thanks - that's what I thought. Still no sign of an email, though. When I look in my assignments it shows the 'reschedule' and 'cancel assignment' bits on the far right had side in black now, not blue and clickable. That suggests it's all over and done with, but is there any way I can check? Not much point in emailing them because I will have to switch off my computer at bedtime and I know Gap wouldn't reply for about 4 days.0 -

SC - I did do a few last week where it took 2-3 hours for the automated reply to come through so I wouldn't worry - I'm sure it's OK.0 -
Hi SC, sounds as though it's been submitted. Sometimes I haven't had the email for 24 hours, so it may arrive tomorrow for you.0

Thanks - I hope you're both right!0
