hi both, thank you for your quick responces, well i saw the job last night and clicked it and had to do a short test to confirm that i didnt know anybody who worked there etc. i finished that and it asked me to choose a date i would like to do the shop so i chose tomorrow. it just said thank you and that was it.
went back on this morning to print off what i needed but cant find it, just checked emails and havnt had anything from them. i also sent them a mail asking if they could help me but havnt had reply as yet.
i hope i aint going to be a bad mystery shopper!0 -
Don't expect a reply to your email any time soon - I'm still waiting for a reply to a query I made on Thursday! They usually take 3 or 4 days.
I don't know what to say about this one - hopefully one of the more experienced people will be able to advise. Are you absolutely sure you went through the full procedure to accept the job? If you do a fresh job search now, is that job still listed?0 -
Sorry, I can't help Cazandio, I've never been able to get a job on Gap despite numerous attempts
Wondering if anyone can help. I've to do a bank job for Gfk tomorrow (did one yesterday and it all went well). They're asking about external atm's. The bank I'm doing tomorrow doesn't have any external atm's, but they do have a wee room with atm's which is separate from the actual bank, but attached, if you know what I mean. Should I assess this?
Also, I've done quite a few jobs for Gfk. I've not heard anything from them about any of the jobs. Should I assume everything's ok and that they'd only contact me if there was a problem?
Cheers,
FF0 -
thank you, i will just wait and see if i get a late email, if not i suppose it wont be my fault as i have tried to tell them that i can no longer find the details. the job isnt on the board anymore it went off as soon as i accepted it.

I'd say that's right, they'll only contact you if there's a query. They don't send out an email telling you how your report was graded, like some companies! I find them very good actually - they respond to queries quite quickly and I'd say they are one of the better MS companies.
With regards to the bank, I've done a couple of bank jobs for them recently, and have a different one booked for tomorrow. I don't know which specific one you are talking about, or what the questions are. If I were you I'd try to get a look at these separate ATMs so if it does come up on the report at least you'll have the info. It's not the one where they say ATMs are NOT classed as automated machines, is it? That had me confused for a bit when I first read it!0 -

Check that it's still not in your basket. If it is just press submit and it should go through.0 -

Thanks Scaredy Cat. It's the regal one's that are north of the border. Thankfully not the one's that say atms are not automated machines. I'm easily confused and that would just have turned me to a bubbling pile of jelly!
As I'm new to the whole MS thing, I keep wanting to phone up and confirm specific things, such as for these atms, but I worry that it will be marked against me. Am I just being paranoid?0 -

Oh that's different to the ones I'm doing. I don't know if you're paranoid because I'm exactly the same!!! Mind you I find some assignment notes clearer than others. Generally I think Gfk are ok but I've had problems interpreting exactly what I'm supposed to order in Gap jobs.
With regard to the ATMs, is it just a case of noting if they are working and where they are located?0 -

Just got back from buying that bucket meal for Gap. One of the first questions is the store number - from the receipt??? Where on the receipt? Anyone?
There are loads of numbers but none actually say STORE. Does anyone have any idea where abouts on the receipt it has the store number, or what letters might indicate the store number?Pleeeeeeease!
I did this job on Friday and when I did it I just put the 4 digit number under the time. This is probably wrong but they have never queried it before and I think if it’s wrong they can look at the receipt themselves! Some of these bucket jobs use newer style tills that print off a clear receipt and says the store number on it but some of the old style receipts are barley legible and it’s not clear at all what is the store number.0 -

If they're working, litter, grafitti, cleanliness, etc. I might give them a call tomorrow just to check. Better that I suppose than filling it in wrong!0
