Amber Arch seem a bit ruthless.

I was doing some jobs for them over last weekend but was laid low with the old sickness bug so couldn't do any, I moved some around where I could, and apologetically cancelled the rest.

I got a nice email from AA just now.

Amber Arch will no longer be requiring your services, therefore you will
be removed from our database.

I'm not impressed with them. Just recently been accepted by them - they offered me 3 jobs a couple of weeks ago, told me I could do them and I was just waiting for the full briefing notes, then I got an email saying they no longer needed doing (code for she'd given them to someone else, I reckon!) I was not impressed!

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? That's twice now I've put smileys in my posts - they've shown up in the reply screen but are missing when the post goes live. Any ideas?

I have rebooted twice and it's still happening, at least it's not just me

It's happening for me as well.

It took us till 2:10 for others to report the same issue?

Spare a thought for Hollypear, who's just had her holiday flights cancelled, as they were with the company that have just gone bust! I know it's affecting thousands of people, plus all those who've lost their jobs too.
That's the last thing she needed - today especially, as she's been to her step-brothers funeral this morning.
Her computer is also kaput, so she won't have access to anything for a while.
Fingers crossed she gets another flight sorted by next weekend!
I'll speak to her again later, to find out if she's managed to sort anything out yet.

Aaawww poor Hollypear - if you speak to her please pass on my best wishes and stuff. How awful for her, as if she hasn't got enough hassle and bad news already.

Glad to know the smiley problem isn't just me! I thought I must have pressed a button and screwed it all up, but I guess it's a system problem. Does anyone have a way to alert the site technical people?
