Scaredy I can't really help you on this, as I can't usually be bother doing Gap jobs.
If it is the CFK type visits, I haven't done these since Frontline did them ( how many years ago is that ? lol ). But it was usually an order for a burger meal or a 2or 3 piece chicken meal, which included a drink.
I am not a fast food eater as such, so didn't mind buying a burger even if it iwas just for a bite to see how it tasted etc then throw into the bin. I wouldn't be buying buckets of the stuff and losing money on it.
I don't mind doing nice restaurants where the allowance is say £25, I usually go over the limit, but enjoy the meals and don't mind paying it. I look upon that as a £30 meal for example only costing me a fiver.
If Gap don't get back to you, I have an email addy somewhere I can give you.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Oh and as for GAP and their petrol idea.... thats just stupid! hopefully no one will manage 5 burgers in one month (esp when you have to go alone!) and so then we can all have a fair shot at the petrol. as if! I never see petrol near me - only ever get offered it when they are begging me to go to a computer shop or for a burger. I wouldnt be happy if I was from the petrol people!
I got the email yesterday too, guess how many burger places were listed ??? ONE :rotfl:
I am handy for 3 cities ;Leeds, Bradford Wakefield and 2 big towns; Huddersfield and Halifax plus all the dozens of burger bars inbetween.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

So I dont reckon the same people do them all the time. same with their supermarkets I have been told by my controller I wont get accepted until after I've not done it for 3 months. so I think it is just fastest finger first.
I believe you are only allowed to do the Pizza shop for TNS once every four months: there are probably just more people rotating it between them these days.Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.0 -
I got all excited when I saw the TNS Pizza one near me until I realised it was a Monday lunchtime - no good for me as I'm in work :-(0

Yes, I think it is the one you are hinting at!The thing is the reimbursement is £10 and the bucket costs £9.99 - that's what was quoted on the briefing notes you see before you click on 'accept'. But now, when I go into the more detailed assignment notes in web express, there is a new bit - it actually says
What's New This Month?
Drink requirement - post mix (bottled drink - orange or water)
I don't know what 'post mix' means??? But anyway, I accepted the assignment thinking the reimbursement covered the spend but if they are adding extras in then I'm going to be out of pocket. I'll be out of pocket anyway because the kids will want ice cream and that's not on the list. By the way, is it ok to buy ice cream as well, as long as I buy the bucket as specified?
I'm booked to do this job tomorrow - so I need an answer from them today or it will be too late to reschedule.0 -
Did my first few jobs for Gap on Wednesday. I had an email saying one had gone to a pending database and they would be querying it with me. How long does it usually take for them to get in touch? The others have gone through OK. Thanks.0

I had a query on my first Gap job (actually, my only Gap job!). They took 2 or 3 days to get in touch, I think!!! Then came back again about 3 days after that, when I had thought it was all sorted - they are atrocious!0
