  • Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to see popular sandwich shop assignments on RE anymore?
I have not done any for 3 weeks (so I don't think it's because I have done too many recently) but my friend can see them listed and I can't?
    Anyone had this problem?
  • If it's the 3-letter one, they're only in London and so I never get them, but if it's the one with an American-ish name, then they're nationwide. I onl am unable to see them if I have accepted one visit from that wave already, and even then, if someone else pulls out, I can then see the assignment as they get desparate for anyone to do it.
  • I don't like this sort of drink but I can save it for when I have guests. I

..well that's the last time I'll come visiting you if all you do is foist your nasty rejects on me...!!;)

Not liking these off license ones at all! The ones where you got the wine were good - but the last wave and these new ones are pants if you dont like that drink (which not even dh will use up:rotfl:). That and the pharmacys which I still wont do - not done anything for them in a while.

Anyone know how much the 2 purchases would add up to? That is, how short in payment would we be?
  • Josie, they say they will give us £6. I don't buy that type of alcohol so am not sure how much it'll be but I think the £6 will cover it. But let's say the total spend is £5.49, you get that amount, plus the £4 fee.
  • The charity shops, none of which are near me, are £7 a pop and you don't need to buy stuff; just be in the store for at least 15 mins, look at how they price things, and then ask the staff member a question. Job done!! I buy lots of books and CDs from charity shops so know my way around them so its a shame there are none of these near me although I do feel it's excessive having MSing here; they're just volunteers for pete's sakes!! Use the money for more important things like helping whoever the charity is aimed for.

Just had a right old laugh with DH about an RE pub job and the ridiculous spend and no fee :D Talk about having no choice about what you can drink or eat - and it still won't cover the costs. Too funny ;)

And just to cheer me up a little more I read the chemist job notes. Asking for hayfever remedies in this weather is more likely to get you sent to the funny farm......

Gap rang me today for the 1st time, not long after ISC. Said no to ISC as its too far and my PVS is not good at the mo but yes to Gap as the fee increase is too good to turn down and its only a few mins away. Funny though how I was offered a petrol job too - cept its over 20 miles away lol. Turned that one down :)

Just food and meals for me now apart from the casino then we're off to St Ives for the week. Hope the weather isn't quite as bad as it is now.....
