Anyway could I possibly do a shop (13 miles from home) for them tonight or tomorrow for twice the normal fee? I said no way tonight as I have had the most horrendous week in work and I am doing absolutely nothing for anyone tonight!! I've got a day out planned tomorrow and so I offered to go on SUnday. He said ok, but then changed his mind as he realised the shop is closed on Sundays, could I go tomorrow for three times the fee - and if I don't do the job they are going to lose the entire contract.
How odd I got a panicky phone call too around 5 pm re the same red corner store. The contract would be lost if I didnt step in to help.I find this company a bit heavy handed on the "hustling" for want of a better word.Though ,for once,I have got a decent fee."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -

I have just logged in to check.
I am seeing 15 of the pizza competitors and over 500 pizza jobs, Maybe you have done the limit for one month ?
Thanks tigergold, I've just rechecked and see the 15 competitors but no pizza jobsI've not actually seen any since the end of June, I just thought that they only came every few months but now I'm wondering if for some reason I've been 'taken off' the pizza jobs. I can still see lots of other companies and have about 5 jobs lined up for them, so they've not got rid of me completely. I'll get hold of them to find out what's happened.

We are back!!!
Wahey, had a garbage day, couldnt find a shop I went to do, spent over an hour looking for it and as a result missed two other stores that I couldnt do as we went over the time period.
In others news, the merger between GfK and TNS is off!
I am also proud of the fact that MSE and Martin have pulled it back online in 5 minuts less than they advertised!0 -
I have a problem with Gap where I have failed the certification test for one of their clients. Does anyone know whether I will be able to retake the test in the future in order to carry out assessments for this client?0

Sorry to hear about your bad day LTDdo you think the MS comps will be ok with it?
Is it good or bad news (scuse the ignorance) that the merger is off? personally I like GFK just the way that they are0 -
Anth - You will be able to take the test in future, happened to me also, can't remember exactly but i left it a few months and then contacted them to reset the test, did it and can now do assignments for the client.
Oh evening all, did we all manage to survive the shut down0 -
Been getting withdrawal symptoms all day lol. Got one job on tomorrow - was going to the store next door so that worked out well. Also got a few jobs on Monday as well. What is it with GAP as well. Every time they ask me to do a job they offer to give me a petrol job as well. Shouldn't these be done as assignments and not given out as incentives??
Anyway now have just over three weeks left so am really only doing very local jobs - or ones where I don't have to get out of the car/move very far/fast/or are last minute :rotfl:
Anyone got much on for the week?0 -
Ellie - do u mean its only 3 weeks till you have the baby, wow, don't you have a MS lined up for the hospital cafe :rotfl: , Good luck with that !
Not much on for me next week - only 2 shops for RE !0 -
I've got 7 next week, 1 is a bank job which I've never done before but I need to do things other than food!
Not long now Ellie!0
