i would have though RE would have got the message by now but obviously not, there are still a load of chemists on there, lets hope as the dates end sunday they wont put them back on, even with prescriptions a week and my glandular fever i couldnt stand the sight of more hayfever tablets.

I did the same on Tuesday. Got a prescription after seeing the midwife and did debate going to the specified pharmacy but then ended up going to Asda as I couldn't face filling in the damn questionnaire and having even more hayfever tablets - I mean there are only so many packets a household needs!!!

Is the money actually in your account or does your Shop log say "Paid"

I emailed the finance person and got this reply

My log still says "Pending " though.

    They owe me £1880.00:eek:

OMG - sorry but I'd be threatening them with the Small Claims Court by now or at least be asking for interest - that's appaling service. What do you say to your credit card company (I take it you paid on plastic??!!) - Sorry just waiting to get paid from my MS company - do you mind holding off chasing me for payment for a while!!!! - yeah right.

They must know that most people do not have this amount of money to throw away- Absolutely disgraceful

They have gone down in my estimation somewhat
It took some juggling but I am not paying interest

When I get my money I will dump them as have got what I want from the bmi flights and their jobs and allocation system are both pathetic.
  • How does everyone get so many jobs? Ive done a few with Amber Arch and thats it. Ive applied to others but not heard anything since. How did everyone start off?
  • I started with RE, then GFK, GAP and just joined OC AA and few others but not done any/many jobs with the others yet!

P.S Got the RE questions sorted ;)

I must say I can't blame you - I'd be seriously NOT impressed.

Has anyone else had an e-mail from OC regarding flights for the end of the year. Has anyone ever flown with them before? Looking at going in December if they'll let me (will be flying with DH, DD and 2mth baby so wonder if that will be OK). never done any work for them so will wait and see what they say.

I have also just got the email from OC. I have looked at doing a flight in October- but am slightly confused! (it doesnt take much..) do they refund the total price of the flight, plus the fee each way? or is it just the fee, and you have to pay for your own flights out of that?
    - The email says "The assignment fee includes the cost of one flight for the outward journey and one flight for your return journey". Does that mean the cost of the flight is included in the fee? i'm confused!!
  • You would get your flight paid for each way plus a fee each way. So depending on the route your fee could cover your plus one if you travel with someone.

Arrrghhh - had a phone call from GAP as I left work this evening. Started by saying he had been trying to contact me all day - but it must have been by telepathy as there have been no missed calls on my work phone or mobile and my husband has been home all day.
Anyway could I possibly do a shop (13 miles from home) for them tonight or tomorrow for twice the normal fee? I said no way tonight as I have had the most horrendous week in work and I am doing absolutely nothing for anyone tonight!! I've got a day out planned tomorrow and so I offered to go on SUnday. He said ok, but then changed his mind as he realised the shop is closed on Sundays, could I go tomorrow for three times the fee - and if I don't do the job they are going to lose the entire contract.
I still said no - but have just got home and talked it over with DH, who suggested emailing and saying as they are in such dire straits I could change my plans, but only for 10 times the fee. I've just sent the email but don't expect to hear back! I also pointed out it was strange that when they were in such short supply of shoppers in my area it was very odd that they have not responded to my DH's application to join in early July!
I expect they'll sack me now for losing the contract for them. Its a small corner red shop btw.
ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away :)

I started off years and years ago, back in the days where a building society visit used to pay about £40

I do very little for Gappy as they once shafted me after begging to do a job for them...
Not done anything for FF for over 2 years
Do a few for RE from time to time
and TNS, who look after me, but I have done their stuff for years too.

If you haven't joined RE I am happy to refer you, PM me if you want.

Bare I have only ever done 2 jobs for, never bothered with them since.

GRG are quite good, but the jobs are very few and far between.
