Yep - due three weeks on Friday. DH is terrified that my waters are going to break whilst I'm on a MS job hence why he's not letting me go far. He has his knee op on Tuesday so will be home for two weeks so I can't even sneak off to do a "quick" job lol. I have got a pizza job for his birthday lunch which isn't too bad as it is round the corner and closer to the hospital than our house. I can see it now - me in labour demanding a laptop as I have to complete GAP's questionnaire within 8 hours :rotfl:0

A few days ago I got an e-mail saying there would be an online training session - effectively a conference meeting via computer. I was asked when I was available and e-mailed them my availability. Clearly they did not read it as they arranged the conference meeting outside my availability time, that meant I had to re-schedule other work.
Come the date and time of the promised conference meeting nothing happened - I did not receive the promised e-mail inviting me to the conference - I sat at my computer for an hour pressing send/receive wondering where the e-mail was.
I contacted the the MS company and received a call back saying the conference meeting had been cancelled - well that was nice of them to tell me after the event! I was told that a training job would be issued online within 20 minutes but this never happened for another 19 hours!
So, I start to do the training job...
I immediately realised there were inconsistencies in the scenario and other info supplied so I rang the MS company trying to contact the person repsonsible. The instructions said to contact the author if there was any problem but the author gave no name or phone number!
In all, I made five phone calls but staff struggled to transfer calls and I was repeatedly cut off. On the fifth call I was told that the person was off sick that day but he would call me the following day!
Come the following day - no phone call so I call the company and they say they will leave a message for him to call me. Result? No call! So, I call again and get connected but he cannot hear me! So I call again!!!
This time I do get to speak to the right person and I explain the problem. Without thinking, he immediately changes the scenario but now it makes even less sense than before!!! I average over 90% with this particular company and I will not prejudice my work by attempting to do work that I cannot understand and the scheduler clearly does not understand either.
Some of you will know what company and job I am taking about. If so, did you have a similar experience?
Just one more thing...
When I was called on my mobile (after the event) telling me the conference call had been cancelled, BARE failed to disconnect the call - they left it connected for over 21 hours!!0 -
Did my first RE job today, just a pub drink but I was going into town to shop anyway so wasn't any trouble to do - always a bit nervous when you do a job for a new company, especially as I can't see any other jobs for them atm until this one is processed.
This week I've got a computer shop and a posh clothes shop to do 2 nights afterwork, then a coffee one on Saturday in London (where we're going for a day out) and another coffee and electrical shop on Sunday - and that's before I get any pleading phonecalls from GAP :rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Does anyone have any idea how I can increase my score with Bare? Still have 5 points and for all the jobs I need 8.:mad:0

Would like it if they swapped to GFK tho
I think the pineapple affects the pizza timings somehow, thats what Timmne said when I queried it before (altho I think he was taking an educated guess too)
