RE seem to be losind the plot on some of the fees.
Sports shop drops this wave £10 purchase (Not refundable) and a £3.50 Fee !!! Just not even worth the time and effort especially with the report on that one.
Also a lot of the Pubs seem down from £18.50 spend and £5 Fee to £15.00 spend and £5 fee

I immediately realised there were inconsistencies in the scenario and other info supplied so I rang the MS company trying to contact the person repsonsible. The instructions said to contact the author if there was any problem but the author gave no name or phone number!
In all, I made five phone calls but staff struggled to transfer calls and I was repeatedly cut off. On the fifth call I was told that the person was off sick that day but he would call me the following day!
Come the following day - no phone call so I call the company and they say they will leave a message for him to call me. Result? No call! So, I call again and get connected but he cannot hear me! So I call again!!!
This time I do get to speak to the right person and I explain the problem. Without thinking, he immediately changes the scenario but now it makes even less sense than before!!! I average over 90% with this particular company and I will not prejudice my work by attempting to do work that I cannot understand and the scheduler clearly does not understand either.
Some of you will know what company and job I am taking about. If so, did you have a similar experience?

Bladdy BARE must be the slowest payers in history, did two jobs in June and one very early July, still not being paid.
Payment pending on my screen, did get an email saying there was a problem and they hadn't released payments or some such bobbins. But that isnt acceptable, should charging them interest, out of pocket for 2 months.
Consider RE who get smashed but at least they pay twice a month, GfK etc pay on time too every single month, it doesnt stack up well.
BARE are as bad as GYP and need to get themselves sorted sharpish.0 -
I'm not overly happy with RE as they keep ringing me to do jobs - like today they said could I do a job 40mins away - I said the fee would cover a third of my travel money so they offered double - still less than my mileage - are they talking the same lingo?0

Just a quick question, trying to make the most of every assignement with companies that only reimburse what you spend.
Eg. Reimbursement is £8 to buy X food and Y drink
X and Y only comes to £5, so can I buy another item to make the total come to £8 even though the assignment does not require it.

You have to buy exactly what they instrct you to, and in my experience they reimburse UP TO £8 for example. So if the cost of X drink and Y food is £5.50, that's all they'll give you back (not the £8) - along with the assignment fee. hth0 -

BARE seem to have lots of problems at the moment. Their phone system is problematic (or their employees don't know how to use the phones), their last payment run failed (promise to pay this week I think), staff don't understand the mystery jobs they are in charge of, many e-mails I receive twice, sometimes I receive e-mail saying I have been assigned a job (when I have not), sometimes staff assign me jobs without me asking and expect me to decline if I don't want them, they are losing the airline contract (just after I have done a short haul flight and am now qualified for long haul), their changeover to a new way of working (geographical rather than assignment-based) is a joke when even those in charge of assignments don't understand them!
In short, everything is a c0ck-up!0
