What's a fundus? lol I'm sure he's ok tig, probably in between areas.

Lol, I can't sing!
But, I do know that a good excercise to hit high notes is to hold the edge of the table and pull up on it as if you are going to lift it - it tenses the muscles in your stomach and gives the note more power. If the table is too light, um....windowsill?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Erin is a much better swimmer than me already, it's embarraasing! Big g used to swim for the county so i guess she takes after him.... i would just love to be able to get more outta the swimming i do by being more efficient... supposed to be so good for you...

Well in theory you can but I tried it and I just can't catch my breath properly and my knees and hips are really achy afterwards even though I was pretty fit just a month earlier (can't believe I ran a 10k just 3 months ago:eek: ) and the midwife gave me some blurb about ligaments relaxing atc. I've tried again recently thinking that as I'm over the constant tiredness pretty much I might have more energy for it but it just plain hurts.
Hoping to get right back into it ASAP after the birth though:A Meanwhile I walk an extra stop to/from the train, I swim and occasionally take the bike out.:A :A
LOL! Yeah didn't want to scare you but I ran regularly before I was preggers and thought I could carry on, but I developed severe SPD and ended up on crutches, with a pelvis belt type thing on along with the strongest painkillers I could take at the time. I didn't walk anywhere at work, just used to wheel around on my chair. So bad they induced me three weeks early...... (was nothing to do with the running and despite having already had three children had never heard of SPD until then)
Right as rain as soon as I had given birth - skipped out of the hospital!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

About this time last Year I decided to start swimming again and could barely do 2 lengths front crawl without dying and had to stop. Amazingly you can really improve so quickly and so good for your fitness. The best thing that helped me was buying a nose clip and goggles...I just couldn't get any technique with breathing without the clip as the water kept going up my nose then I would choke etc etc. The 2nd thing I would suggest is going to a class for improvers. I used to go on a sunday night and it was great, didn't feel out of my depth as there were some that couldn't even swim. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. could be he went in late tig, there might have been a bit of a queue if the consultant couldn't be bothered to turn up on time to do his list, there was an emergency which shunted everyone back a bit or maybe the anaesthetist was off sick and they had to find another.
