Lucifa - you do know you can still run when you are preggers don't you..... there is a book about it!

Well in theory you can but I tried it and I just can't catch my breath properly and my knees and hips are really achy afterwards even though I was pretty fit just a month earlier (can't believe I ran a 10k just 3 months ago:eek: ) and the midwife gave me some blurb about ligaments relaxing atc. I've tried again recently thinking that as I'm over the constant tiredness pretty much I might have more energy for it but it just plain hurts. :(

Hoping to get right back into it ASAP after the birth though:A Meanwhile I walk an extra stop to/from the train, I swim and occasionally take the bike out.:A :A

It gets better, just called Big G and he says i don't finish work til half five, swim thing starts at half seven so i should use the time in between to go to gym and the gentle swimming thing (cause it shouldn't be too taxing) will be perfect way to stretch out gym muscles afterwards!!

It wouldn't be worth driving from where i work to home for an hour and a bit and back again (20mile round trip) so i might as well use the time more effectively, and he will be daddy day care til i get home at 9pm, long day but worth it for 6 weeks....

Ahh that's nice, sounds fab :)

I've kind of run out of work and motivation after one morning back in the office - dearie me!

The flylady thing always makes me feel like I'm incredibly lazy, but there is only me in the house so less to do.. oh and I am lazy :o

Thanks honey, is that the one you use? Looks better than the one on sale at my pool, it was kinda pink and clear plastic, just never worked well for me at all...... maybe a good nose clip and one batch of lessons will have me all set.

Erin is a much better swimmer than me already, it's embarraasing! Big g used to swim for the county so i guess she takes after him.... i would just love to be able to get more outta the swimming i do by being more efficient... supposed to be so good for you...

    OMG tig what's happened???

He is having an op Sar.

Went onto one ward this morning (which wasnt really a ward, no beds etc) and was supposed to be going to another (with a bed) after surgery.

I was given the number of the ward and I left to come home to the girls at 1130 when he went down to surgery.

I was told to ring in a couple of hours.

    Which I duely did.

The ward have never heard of him

Apparently he is in a brrom cupboard somewhere

The porters are looking behind the cleaning fluid right now!!
