LIST THAT EFFING STUFF ON EBAY (bet I don't)

    Check all email/MS/surveys, do spreadsheet.

    Hi PP,
What a strange coincidence - Adam had his third set of injections today. It throws me into a right state so I got nothing done this morning - preparing myself - and nothing done this afternoon- cuddling him.

I don't know if you have noticed the same thing as me but my day is no longer 24 hours long. Not too long ago, before no.3 came along, there were definitely 24 hours to a day, now there are about 3 - I'm sure of it and I can prove it because I too have a similar list to you and I managed to do one thing today. There just wasn't enough hours in the day.

Anyway just wanted to say that you will make inroads in the debt but don't beat yourself up about not achieving the day to day lists. People without children/jobs achieve less than you do. Honest.

Hi Pandapaws..have just found this diary and read through it.You are doing really well. It's tricky regarding the budgetting isn't it?....I do the same with big bills as well ie not budget and find sometimes that I have less money than I really thought I had previous. My taxi insurance and tax bill are two that spring to mind.
You are doing fantastically and as the others have said will get your debt cleared.Have a good day x

Thanks to everyone above for all the support, it's really nice of everyone to post and does keep me going (amy&jon, you deserve a medal for reading 24 pages of my ramblings and rantings!). I was feeling a bit pee-d off due to my lack of success at achieving just about anything yesterday, but I suppose I shouldn't expect miracles just because I write them down!. So, as for that list...

[strike]Greg to Doc at 11.45 for 3rd round of jabs[/strike] - he was as good as gold and although a bit off colour for the afternoon, not too bad.
[strike]Going to Sheffield with friends to take kids swimming[/strike] This ended up taking all day and costing £37 as we went for dinner afterwards - friend with us was on his own with his kids as his wife's mother had been rushed to hospital at lunchtime, and he wanted to keep the kids out as long as possible. Dinner at Chiquitos (where, thankfully kids eat free at the moment), and didn't get home till 7.30pm. Kids loved swimming though.
Build framework for bathroom toilet, worktop etc (very complicated - best left to OH I think!)
LIST THAT EFFING STUFF ON EBAY (bet I don't) - you were right El...but I've made a start this morning
Ring Tesco re Clubcard address THEN order some free wine
    [strike]Continue the endless washing pile[/strike]
[strike]Check all email/MS/surveys, do spreadsheet[/strike]. Sat up to midnight doing surveys, about £11 worth
    Tidy up the study
    Do my squares
AND...due to popular demand, try and prepare something resembling an accurate budget.

Also spent nearly 2 hours on phone to Mint as they've messed up my 0% and are charging me interest. Still not sorted. And 40 mins on phone to Barclays as they keep sending me letters in my maiden name despite having changed the account over and they couldn't work out why either. So I did a lot, just not what I wanted to do.

    For today:
    • List car on Ebay (plus trolley, curtains, crib & moses basket if time)
    • Clean kitchen
    • More of the eternal washing mountain
    • Build bathroom framework, start tiling
    • Ring Tesco & order wine
    • Check emails/surveys/spreadsheet/MShops
    • Do my squares & prepare that budget
    • Tidy up the study
Payday tomorrow, which means midnight tonight. :j

Floxxie, hope Adam's ok. Poor little thing! Still, it's for his own good (but try telling him that when you're pinning him down with needles hovering).

Oh dear, not very successful! I spent a lot of time listing the car though, and did a couple of other things, then went to Tesco where we were very disciplined and spent £53.77 on what will hopefully be most of a week's shopping.

In-laws coming tomorrow to babysit here while we start tiling. Thankfully I'm working at 2!

    Evening PP,

Thanks for asking after Adam - he's not reacting well today so I think there may be a long night ahead for me! Also OH has just informed me that he is away with the lads until Monday morning and I wasn't aware although he had apparently started telling me about it a year ago

So that's bu**ered up my chances of sorting life out over weekend..so will have to keep an eye on your thread instead!

It's 4.40am and I'm shattered! Had some major shift swops due to someone going sick so I got shunted onto the nightshift. Grrr. Normally nightshifts are good, but Friday is an awful night, and DH is on the early so I'll have the kids all morning = no sleep = one very tired panda.

Not much further forward with the stuff on the list but I did do loads of other things yesterday instead. Like watch FIL mowing the lawns for us:D It's true that if you put something off for long enough someone will eventually do it for you!

Poor Floxxie, there's nothing worse than being left alone with kids. Hope you're getting a weekend away too sometime soon! Hope Adam is better now. Greg's skin has been really bothering him today.

Enjoy your time off Amy! Plenty of time to make loads of extra cash and get that wedding planned!

Just spent an hour reading your thread, although got a bit distracted halfway through reading about squares and I have worked out that to be free of debt in 12 months I would need to pay £55 per day!

I have been a member on here since 05 when I was pregnant with my fourth and she is nearly 3 now. I wanted to be debt free by the time she came along but my OH got made redundant, I lost my job and things went pear shaped for a while, BUT with the help of this site, whilst my debt didn't go down it didn't go up! It has come down really slowly by £5k over the last couple of years, but I am now in a better position to finally get rid of it.

Just wanted to offer my support and say how much I enjoyed reading your thread.
