I was wondering how your debt totals were doing. It *must* be coming down by now, surely, simply cos of the monthly payments if nothing else, you haven't put that much on recently have you? For one thing, you haven't had time to buy anything :grouphug:.
I'm glad the casino thingy was a help. Good egg! :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yes, the casino thingy was fab, thanks for that KC.
I don't know where we are at the moment with the debt stuff - we have been spending on the cards quite a bit over the past couple of months because of the garden and bathroom stuff, plus general naughtiness. I went through my purse though and cut up every card (see avatar!) because I was fed up with them taking up space in my bag.
Trying to have a house blitz today but not getting very far due to whingy baby. Nyeh.0 -
Omigod thats a lot of cards  good for you for cutting them up! :beer:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Bloomin eck, it's Mr.B's wallet:eek: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I bet that is a weight off your mind cutting all of those up.:T At least you won't be tempted to use them.
How's the challenge coming along?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I wondered what that was in your avatar!
Well done!
Ebay is the devil, but a must for most of us.I hate the place, but with me not working at the moment, if it wasn't for Ebay I wouldn't have a house! Grr.

Yep, a lot of cards. With a combined credit limit of over 100k (plus my loans). Scary stuff, but shows that perhaps I'm not as bad as I used to be as in the old days every card would be at the limit and I'd owe about 150k if that was the case.
Which challenge Bob?:o Got so many on the go, but the challenge-challenge is doing not too bad - not sure how I'm doing against the individual targets but I'm working like a blue-bummed fly at the moment so must be getting somewhere.
Just popping on to say hello to everyone but I'm in the middle of yet another marathon listing session so I can't hang around. Hope everyone's happy and well. x0 -

Spent half an hour this evening (at work, obviously) catching up on a few other diaries...why is everyone else doing so much better than me with money at the moment? A. Because they have self-control, motivation, and time to get on with things, probably. Must try harder - payday today and I've still not done that new SOA/spreadsheet that I've been promising since the year dot.
Greg was 1 yesterday! He's almost properly walking now, but not well enough to do it outside as he still randomly falls down. His birthday was nice apart from the fact he whinged all day and then burnt his hand on the cake candle which had taken us 20 mins to light from the electric hob! No harm done though.0 -
Happy birthday Greg!! And happy 1 year anniversary for being in your new house!
