  • Hi Panda! Have just started reading your diary (searching for inspiration to blitz our debt) and noticed that 1. you live in a little village in South Yorkshire...me too! and 2. you've recently (well a year ago) had a little boy, snap!. So I'm going to be reading your diary with interest.. Good Luck with it all.

Thanks PP. Have just seen your avatar :eek::eek:

By the way took your advice and have two DSs into a childminder for one day a week. Only started last week but it was bliss..unfortunately the day was spent having visitors - they obviously could sense that it was safe to enter the house.

There's a little over 2 weeks left in March so am going to try really hard to get eBaying; I'm reminded of it everytime I come onto your thread!

  • Cool Panda sounds like a good job to me! Better than what I do! (factory)

Thanks for your wishes Panda, and Karmacat, he is doing fine now, luckily it was early. He is a lucky man(only 23 though, like a baby really) and so am I to be honest. As horrible as it is, it put everything into perspective for us, and for that I am thankful. Everything happens for a reason as they say.

Hi panda, Im not the only one not finding enough hours in the day then!!

Hope you are ok and not working too hard. Really hope your not lost in a mountian of ebay stuff, or are you dirving all over the place trying to find postoffices where they dont give you mucky looks when you struggle through the door with loads of parcels. our local one hates me i think.

It's a bit of a mad-house here at the moment. OH is away for the week with "work" so my parents are here to help out with the kids while I'm at work. I love them to bits and they mean well but...well, just 'but' is enough I think.

So hello to everyone :hello:. Jessbrown, I'm intrigued...PM me the name of your little village if you like. Good luck with your debt blitzing, but you're unlikely to get much inspiration around here at the moment :o .

Ebay is still driving me up the wall. I love looking at the list of sold items, checking for best offers, and withdrawing money from Paypal. I don't actually mind wrapping up the stuff to post, and I can even live with the dirty looks at the Post Office (although I'm getting peed off with them scrunching up my carefully positioned package contents so they have to go as packets rather than large letters. Grrr.). I just hate the fact that every spare computer moment I get (and there are very few) is spent on sodding Ebay or Auctiva and not doing things that I want to do. Sigh. And my bedroom looks like a branch of TK Maxx on sale day.

Floxxie, really glad that you're enjoying the childminder time. I find that I rarely get anything much done while Greg's there either, but it's just nice to be able to do the everyday stuff without a baby clinging to your legs and whinging. Greg's pretty good at the whole walking business now, but he still randomly falls over so he hasn't been out on his feet outside much. How's A doing?

Lunar, hope that the littl'un is better now. Any more photos of him? Hopefully will have time to check your diary and a few others before I have to go home tonight. Speaking of which, I'd better stop waffling if I want to try and get anything at all else done. Cheers for now peeps.

    Hi PP,

A not walking yet but thinks he can ;) He's full of cold so not much sleep for past two nights. It's a good job I don't have to go out to proper work, I would be a liability!

I hate eBay as well for the time it takes up in your life but am going for a 1000 listing challenge to raise funds to have my house done up (it doesn't really need it but I do). Problem is is that I am also match betting, studying, researching and then the normal things as well. Don't think I shall be able to keep everything up but will give it a damn good go.

Sounds like you are in the same position..us mums are amazing aren't we? :rotfl:

    Catch up soon.
