    Hello!

The usual hectic week around here. Those car mystery shops were a nightmare, took 2 days to do them all, and the phone hasn't stop ringing since. I feel awful for some of the salesmen (not all of them - a few were total !!!!!!) who were really desperately trying to get me the best price and I was completely wasting their time that could have been spent making real sales to earn cash to feed their families! Dawnybabes, funnily enough I found the Merc to be one of the best - lovely service. Although I was claiming to be buying a 55k car, perhaps that's why...

KC - they insist you turn up in your own car, I don't think you drive do you? I wouldn't recommend it anyway, it was far too much like hard work. £200 isn't to be sniffed at but I won't be doing another one like that, it really was awful. I think I can say here anyway, can't I? It was Bare International if you're still interested.

Lunar - found it in the end by ringing a pub nearby and asking them. They must have thought we were mad! Must update that other thread to say thanks for the advice.

Colds still around but not too bad apart from hacking coughs. My neck's really bad again but at the other (the usual) side this time. I'm fed up with it! Going on a diet on Monday, which gives me the weekend to scoff the last of the Doritos that we stockpiled when they were BOGOF.

Ebay's been doing quite well with the existing listings but I've been to busy/knackered to list much more. Will keep trying though.

Not made a start on storage yet but we got rid of a sofa in our bedroom to make space for the exercise bike and rowing machine. The rest of the gym stuff in storage can be sold/Freecycled. Hopefully sold!

    How's everyone else?

Ah, I know that feeling. I used to be paranoid that someone would recognise me but now I don't really care. Something to do with networks? Ah, right, one of those...:rotfl: Have a good hoke around and see if you can find any more of them!

Not much doing around here today. I've spent the evening at work and not got any Ebay stuff photographed so I haven't been able to do that, so I've been doing surveys instead. Why do cereal manufacturers seem to do SO MUCH market research and why is it always so mind-numbingly boring? And chewing gum. And mobile phones. Has anyone done a survey that's NOT related to one of those recently?! If only they'd ask me interesting questions..."which of these handbags do you like the best?" or "is Ebay crap?".

Today I signed up to Tesco Diets (£17.95 but £15 Quidco plus triple clubcard points, so just about free for 6 weeks), and went to Morrisons to stock up on healthy food. Tesco reckon it will take me 61 weeks to reach my target weight :rotfl: although I have no idea what basis that's calculated on. We'll see! So it's a Chinese tonight, plus the bar of Lindt I got in Morrisons for my last supper. And then dust for the following 61 weeks.

Any other fatties want to join me for the next 61 weeks?

Im with you for the next 61 weeks......my running is not having the weightloss effect I was hoping for!

My neck is much improved though, thanks to a wonderful cocktail of drugs from my GP - I would recommend them!

The neck sounds bad, Panda, and the hacking cough. But I love the idea of scoffing everything before the diet starts tomorrow! I do that sort of thing, not for a diet in particular, but when I'm trying to eat healthily, so I always start a detox when I'm completely toxed up :(

Still "mustn't grumble", they do say that .... on a tv show somewhere somewhen, anyway... sounds like you're making slow progress, clearing a piece of furniture isn't to be sniffed at. I've gone absolutely overboard a few days this week, and its taken me ages to recover physically, so things here aren't going quite as quickly as I'd hoped. From Monday I'm joining the matched betting "Whip SS" November challenge, hopefully I'll bring in lots from that. Just a couple of teensy mystery shops today, v easy ones.

    Good to see you again.
