Oh rats.... when they c*ck up and it affects your accounts, that is a *horrible* feeling. Rant away all you like - its your diary!
But that is great news that you've given notice on the storage facility - scary that there's so much there, but you just *have* to get listing now. And your tax return, I'm afraid, just re-reading your post up above. I've never had my tax return done as early as this - I'm usually struggling with it at the beginning of December, and my accountant is threatening they won't take it on. But I've had another little push today, and its nearly done, I *think* - maybe two more hours, if I work fast? I've got to take something portable with me to do in downtime in London today, so I'm taking *this* year's receipts, lol.
Take care, panda - you and OH and the kids are the priorities, even with storage and boiler carp going on..... have a good one.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
 indeed on the storage - i have a spare corner of my dining room if you need.....:rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

well done on giving notice on the storage -wow with all that stuff you won't need heating as you all could hide under piles of stuff to keep warm.
Sorry about the British Gas thing- pains in the wotsits.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
I think Freecycle may see quite a few contributions from us in the next few weeks. I've still got the car boot mountain in the garage, but not sure when (if ever) we'll manage to do that (or anything else) because of the boys. If only we could put the kids into 'suspend' mode for a few weeks we'd get all sorts of things done. KC, anything about how to do that in your sci-fi books?
Hypno, pop the kettle on!
I've got a cold coming on, which is just what I didn't want as I've got 6 days off starting tomorrow. How annoying wasting my own time instead of work's time with an illness.
Has anyone done any of these car dealership price audit mystery shops? I've got 14 of them to do one day next week and I haven't a clue - any tips greatly appreciated. It's worth around £200 though.0 -
Not done any of those mystery shops - but £200 is well worth making an effort for! Let us know how you get on!
I hope the cold passes you by quickly, and that you get most of your 6 days off without feeling poorly.

well done on giving up the storage unit, not too much pressure now! at least it will motivate you to get everything sorted out. even if you have to freecycle some things you wont be paying the rent for the unit.
I always get a cold right before a stretch of days off, never when im working. id much rather feel rubbish at work. hope the cold keeps away from you.
never done the car dealership MS, it took me to long just to fill in the form for the pizza hut ones so i gave it up to be honest.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

The Merc garage wouldn't talk prices with me without hubby being there - so I would never buy one if I could afford one !Sealed pot challenge 822

Blimey. As Hypno says, worth making an effort for. Give us a hint what company it is... and dawnybabes, thats horrific! They actually said/hinted that? After you got the money from the m.s. firm, you could sue the garage for sex discrimination! Well, I know you couldn't and ever work again for the m.s. firm, but still... thats terrible.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Goooooooooooood luck with the car mystery shopping - you could ask the dealerships if they have any freebie cars going:D . If you have to test drive any cars look out for any comps running as they will be worth entering£2 savers club 2025 #40
