So guess who forgot about the clocks going back - wondered why my computer clock was saying an hour less than it should have:rotfl:£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
:rotfl: I'm telling you off too!
Great description of your job! Thats not what we see on tv, you know, when tv cameras are allowed into that big new Air Traffic Control Centre!
Such a shame about little Greg's teeth... I really hope it doesn't last long for him (and you!)2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Know exactly what you are going through with the teething PP. I am a walking zombie and still the two bottom ones just sit below the gum. A's crying wakes up the other two so by morning I am ready for the sleep I have missed out on.
Have to stop making the excuses though - you go out to work and still do everything else - so will go through my paperwork tonight and make a fresh start tomorrow.
P.S. have you seen credit_crunch has joined? Haven't had time to mention hollowform yet so if you have the opportunity..

Just checked in with my weeks meter readings on my 50% challenge. We use far too much electricity - 130 daytime units in the past week, so we're going to try and cut that by half.
Work seems to be back to normal - had a busy few months with lots of paperwork but I'm through it now so it's back to doing nothing (and taking the laptop in with me so I can do a bit of this!). The boss officially announced yesterday that he's leaving. I know I gave him a bit of a slating last week but he is a decent bloke and I think we'll miss him. We're all worrying about who'll replace him now.
Lunar, I'm so glad you're enjoying your baba - I'm going to try and get a look at your diary now. It's great to see everything going so well for you..who'd have thought it a year ago, eh?!!
Floxxie, you have my full sympathy with the teething. Greg's driving me insane. I've been deliberately absent from the 10-a-day due to lack of effort but I'll mention it to c_c if I come across her/him.
KC, you're right about the big new ATC centre, I used to work in one of those and it was far too much like hard work. Much easier to work at a little regional airport and spend the morning watching Trisha.
I need a major kick up the backside to get my tax return done. I've not got the motivation at all even though I think I should get a rebate from it. It's just the hassle of getting all the paperwork out, but it's unavoidable so it'll have to get done in the next couple of weeks.0 -
how is your ebay challenge going? did you ever give notice on your storage unit? i wouldnt like the thought of having to do a tax return, it takes me long enough to file my paperwork. hope you get your rebate.
I was going to sendd you DS pics but cant find youe email address, can you send it again? hope all is well.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -

Oh, yes please! Will pm it to you next.
The ebay challenge isn't going the best, I'm nowhere near 10 a day but I definitly am listing more stuff than if I wasn't doing the challenge so all's good. Selling quite a few bits and bobs as well which all helps.
 :j  We've given notice on storage:eek: :j
They're going to get back to us with exactly the notice period is (I thought it was 4 wks, they're not sure - maybe it's only until the end of what we've paid in advance) but we need to get a finger out fast. DH brought a load home the other day, which has completely filled our garage but not even made a dent in the storage unit. Oh.
I'm majorly    with British Gas Services this morning. Boiler stopped working the other day, so called them and got an apponitment following day. I've got the boiler cover where you pay £9 a month and £50 for any repair. Next day, boiler miraculously fixed itself, so I cancelled and was told NO money would be taken from me. I hadn't had my normal card with me when I made the appointment, so used a different one with no money in it with the intention of transferring £50 across, but as I was told they wouldn't take anything I didn't bother. So when I check the bank this morning, they've taken £49.99  which has, unsurprisingly, put us £49.99 overdrawn. They've said they'll refund any bank charges etc since it was their error, but who pays for all the time wasted, phone calls sorting it out etc? And it's my HSBC account, who I've got a rather dubious relationship with at the moment anyway (we're taking them to the ombudsman over the mortgage), so going overdrawn just looks bad. I'm therefore raging about the whole business.
Rant over. I'll go and dress my children now.
