    Or maybe not...

Had a bit of a sore neck this morning, but about 9am something froze and I'm in agony. Had to get DH back from work to sort out Greg, and I'e managed to get an appointment at a chirpractor at 1.15 but I don't think we'll be going anywhere tonight unless the chiro does major stuff!

Flippin typical! I blame the Ebay challenge. (I don't really, but perhaps that would get me out of it???!)

    P.S. Hi Chev!

Oh no! You *really* don't want to go to the IoS, do you? Hope the chiropractor can sort it out.... :(

    PP,

When you get back I would like to make a donation for Barbara now renamed Diane. The postman wanted to know what it was and of course I couldn't think for the life of me as it wasn't how I imagined! I am over the moon, it is absolutely fantastic for modelling clothes. Bet you could sell any remaining ones on eBay!

The delivery of Diane was an event itself. The postman (who had decided to hide behind a wall and jump out at me???) then tells me all about packages he has in his van that make strange noises 'if you know what I mean - *wink*wink). I told him I didn't and whatever he thought this was, it wasn't. Don't think he believe me as he seemed pretty attached to the 'chest' of Diane :rotfl:

Hope you are having a good holiday - good excuse for not doing the challenge but we're waiting for you!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Poor old Diane. That awful journey, only to get perved at by your postie on arrival. I'm rather concerned about your postie. Have you thought about moving house?! Glad she arrived anyway - she does make clothes look good.

Well, I'm back on the case following a lovely week away (which involved far too much shopping due to proximity of Ashford/Bluewater/Lakeside and some dodgy mall in Maidstone, where we spent 3 hours as we were waiting for the car windscreen to be replaced - cost £75 excess  but had to be done as that annoying chip DID actually turn into a crack - not just a marketing ploy then!). You were right though KC, the Isle of Sheppey is A Good Thing, although the bridge over there scared the living s**t out of me! One of our better Sun hols: recommended!

The neck is still not right, but bearable. It was total hell the day we were leaving (hence Floxxie's Diane was rather badly wrapped with no note or anything to introduce her - very hastily done with one hand!) but we got there.

Been paid and loads come out so another load of squares shaded, will update soon.

Just listed 2 Ebay items but I'm way behind. Must allocate some time to catch up this week.

Hope everyone is well, I'll catch up tomorrow hopefully. Night!

Glad you had a good time, and hope that the neck/shoulder is soon completely better.

Bob, haven't read your diary for ages, just noticed your sig - what sort of washing machine are you trying to get that's £900?! I've got 2 Dyson machines and they're fab, but even those were about £700 brand new (many years ago). Perhaps that's why your curtains come out so well!

:o That was me being coy about a few things, as in needed a new laptop, washing machine and mattress..so had it down as the 'washing machine fund' I have now amended it...

The washing machine is a hotpoint...i did post it all on my thread, but i can see where the misleading comes in:rolleyes: I just wanted folk to think i was posh and have really expensive machine:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope hols were good for you..x

Ah. (Can stop googling 'super-dooper washing machine' now).

Speaking of which, one of mine went kaput last night. Not a major incident since I've got two, but I do have 2 for a reason...the washing is already piling up. I'd ring the nice people at Dyson, but I didn't pay them last time they came out as there was a dispute over the invoice, so I don't think they'll entertain another visit! Although I have moved house...could pretend I'm someone else who's just bought the machine second hand from a horrible lady at my old address...hmmm...

:rotfl:The postie is the one who delivers the larger parcels so likely I shall be seeing him again soon (have been Xmas pressie shopping but can't at the moment as I went over the cc limit with holiday payment - oops). Offer still there to pay for Diane...will help towards the colouring!

And if that was not good wrapping - OMG what would your perfect wrapping be?!

I've just been on the eBay listing thread and my goodness, some people have been seriously listing. I'm watching Frost and then I am going to try again as my PC is really playing up - it won't load or if it does it crashes. Unfortunately I don't have any piccies on my laptop..

Have a feeling that I am going to be joining you on an eBay catch-up this week!

Glad you had a good hols even if the windscreen has cost yet more money.
