Thanks D.I.D sorry to hear you have been there too. some managers get a massive ego boost from it and like to put others down as a result. I'd bitten my tongue for over a year and on the day thought sod it if you're getting rid of me anywya here you go you can hear it... oops.
fingers crossed for a job offer and then it's just finding the courage to pack my bags and go.
You'll be amazed where the courage comes from! I didn't think I had the courage to do a lot of things I've done but the courage has come from somewhere. Think I look at things as opportunties. You have more regrets about the things you didn't do in life than the things you did. Well, that's my opinion.
Tosserbosses...I could write a book on them!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

So I need to find from somewhere the courage to live my life, to follow my dreams and aspirations, to not let opportunities pass me by and to grab them by both hands. :T where i shall find it from who knows? but i am holding myself back so much and dread waking up in ten years time married to someone that i do not love, with children and a mortgage and realising all the opportunities have gone for good.
You go for it! :j
Any chances that come your way, grab them with both hands.
As a perennial drifter, I have many regrets, and looking back so many lost opportunities, not to mention very serious wrong turns that got me to where I am now.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

hiya Pania - can I join in on your diary on the (former) tosserboss and (current) !!!!!! OH conversation?!!
I've just 'felt the fear' and spent a fiver on that book by Susan Jeffers.....I knew I hadn't lost the knack of impulse buying!! :rotfl: (I bought a used copy though, so I did it the MSE way!)
With Malaysia - back in 1998, I was 2 days away from being made redundant when I was asked if I fancied going to Dublin on a short term contact for a a year. I started the following week and whilst being in Dublin isn't all the fun, fun, fun it seems on a drunkend weekend visit, there was one little thing that changed an aspect of my life forever and my life would now be in a completely different direction - I would probably still be with my heavily drinking ex, in tonnes of debt and very unhappy, I know for a fact I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you!!
Go for it........:)"Stay Wonky":D

Hello P! Nice to see you back on here, and sounding so determined. The Malaysia job sounds like a great opportunity, but then of course so does the dog course.. so fingers crossed in general that good stuff happens!
:rotfl: at your text when I was on holiday - can't believe I was in the same city as Tosserboss!! Sadly I didn't manage to track him down and kick him in the shins, can just hope he got caught in one of the daily thunderstorms there..
Anyway, lots of hugs and hoping this is a good diary for you! xxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
