BROKE - I've been there.

this is what many e-bay sellers do. I have noticed this particularly with designer clothes and accessories that have seemed like a bargain but on visiting TK Maxx have spotted the same items there as they are last years stock. Good on them is my opinion as they have taken the time to source the bargains and are essentially acting as a broker. Well done to the entrepreneurs....If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Too much of a hurry to criticise, I guess.
Apology accepted!!
Not at all, I read your OP, it said Original cost £40......and it cost you only £20. You should have said Original price £40. I realised after a while that you were not differentiating between the words price and cost. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
Though not a criminal, I also admit to going out at 4am to nick a pint from a shop doorway.
.
I have had milk pinched off my doorstep and flipping annoyed I was too as my kids didn't get cereal that morning and I didn't get my cuppa!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -
Sorry but what an earth is all this fuss about?
Not everyone has the time to go scouring around shops bargain hunting, therefore what is being sold here is a service really. Yes it's been hidden behind white lies and could do with being re-worded a bit (like RRP £40, selling for £25 - and ditch the unwanted gift bit) but the actual premise is perfectly acceptable.
It's basically working as an independant buyer!0 -

And nicking the milk is really only redistributing the nation's wealth. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

The OP hasn't suggested anyone go around stealing from shops to sell in the classifieds. He's simply suggested people bargain hunt for sale items to mark a profit on.
I said nothing about the milk and I'm not going to. If you're bored hunshine - get a hobby, don't pick fights with web users you hardly know.0 -

I have seen a lot of people doing the TK Maxx thing too; piling their trolley full of Von Dutch logo tank tops etc and I;d see them on eBay later. I considered doing it myself but couldn't afford the initial outlay.0 -
Given your squewed understanding of what a criminal is-ie someone who STEALS-I am not surpised you feel this is an ok way to make money.
I have had milk pinched off my doorstep and flipping annoyed I was too as my kids didn't get cereal that morning and I didn't get my cuppa!
And given your SKEWED understanding of the English language I can't say that I care WHAT you think.
Especially when I stated that it was from a SHOP doorway though I should've mentioned that I was 17 years old, No money, No food and No milk for a cuppa and that I STOLE it from a full crate of milk.
But then what the hell am I doing posting such an admission on MSE among posters that have never done a thing wrong in their miserable lives.
How silly of me.

Can i just add that this suggestion was only intended to HELP others on here that are struggling with their finances so can I perhaps ask if any of you half wits that are criticising the BASIS of my suggestion, have any other ideas, then perhaps you would be better off posting those ideas on here instead of decrying my offering.
Otherwise, your comments are not welcome."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0
