I was out in a night Club last weekend, essentially on the hunt for a one night stand, I could not see a single "Lady" who wasn't at the very least overweight..Which is a real turn off for me, I have a good hit ration in this area, but ended up having to turn to an Ex of mine that evening...Not ideal .

I am sure they were gutted "luvpump". You sound like a real catch.

"on the hunt for a one night stand"? "good hit ratio"? Mmmm the fatties really missed out with you!

Is it just me or is there anybody else out there that would love to see one of the 'guests' on the Jeremy Bile show give the 'host' a one on one discussion with their fist?

    I so agree.

When we had our days off to move house, we had the tele on in the background while we were packing up. OH says he has it on sometimes in the day (he works shifts)! I couldn't say much to this as I like Big Brother (and neither of us are chav scum!).

Jeremy Kyle himself is by far the most vile person on the programme. (and that's saying something!).I think I posted this once before, but he used to be a radio presenter up here in Brum. There was a competition on his show to have a "blind marriage" or something of the sort, where you had to marry the other contestant! (clearly to make more guests for his future shows. )

The marriage failed almost straight away (funny that) and Jeremy Kyle actually married the bride himself!( after she divorced the other guy, of course).

He really is an arrogant, hideous little man, who thinks he is perfect (hmmm sounds like some people on this forum!).

On a trip to the zoo yesterday my wife and I couldn't help noticing the majority of people were over weight, some barely able to walk.

I find it kind of unsettling that so many people are willing recruits to shorter, more unpleasant lives.
Do we not realize our bodies are machines that like cars need to be cared for if we dont want them to cease up and rust.

Makes me chuckle when you hear over weight people pouring out all thier unfortunate health problems, the aim being to frame thier lot as simple misfortune / bad luck, when in fact those problems are related to thier bodies being put under intense strain.

Imagine your little old heart that in a normal life will beat 1.5 billion times, having to chug away trying to pump blood through twice the mass of fllesh, in which the blood roues themselves are squeezed by heavy fat on all sides.

I dislike health facists, and I enjoy the odd cigar and plenty of wine and beer, not to mention a love of food, but you can avoid getting fat by always exercising / being on the move. For example dont just 'lie' on a beach, use say 30 minutes to do a plank while you read.

I think the key to being a healthy weight isn't mad diets, crazy gym routines (that you'll never keep up) or similar. It's playing sport you enjoy, and fitting exercise into your normal life.

I'd be the first to admit I eat too much, I like eating. So I make sure OH and I play badminton regularly, we go swimming with our son, surfing and sailing on holiday, and I cycle and walk a lot. That means that although I think I'd be better off without half a stone (I'm just under 10 stone, and 5 ft 7, so I'm slightly overweight, I think), I'm sure I'd be a lot fatter if I ate what I do eat, and never moved off the sofa.

It reminds me of the time I was on a Ryanair flight and I foolishly took a window seat. About 2 mins later two extremely overweight women squeezed into the centre and aisle seats beside me ... I was literally squished against the window as they had real problems fitting into their seats.

They then proceeded to spend the whole flight complaining to each other about their various medical problems - diabetes, high blood pressure, shortness of breath. That is, whenever they weren't filling their faces with the sandwiches, crisps and chocolate that they'd brought on board with them.

Was this aimed at me? I am far from overweight! I love sport and the gym, and run half marathons.

I whole heartedly about people needing to look after their bodies.

NDG Your BMI is 21.5! (normal range 20-25!) You are FAR from overweight.

You are a similar weight to me, I am only 1 inch taller than you and I am definately not overweight.

(before anyone starts, I know BMI is not a great indicator, but I think this does show she isn't overweight.)
