 ok i digress ..but why o why are sooo many women the size of King Kong these days !!!!!!!!!
Interesting to note in the travel programme on BBC4 which showed snippets from Holiday 88 there were hardly any fat people on the beach. Just one woman with a biggish tum. She was probably only a size 14 at most. She was the fattest there! These days she would have looked like a stick insect next to the heffers that walk around on public beaches these days. The modern bloke and their big fat beer gut isn't any better.0 -
Just how much more will we hear of this over the next few months. I might be the biggest, oldest and meanest property bear here but I will ask my fellow posters do do one thing. Please retain some sympathy for these folk who are in danger of losing their homes. These arn`t greedy btl`s. All they are doing is losing a business. That happens a lot. During the last slump I really did think we might lose our home and it was terrifying.
Not everyone is money savvy and there has been so much carp aimed at people to borrow far too much. A big reason why property prices are over the top.
I was hearing today about the sucides and family breakdown caused by the last recession. Friends, that is a real tragedy.0 -

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
It's a recession when your neighbour loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours.0 -

Good post.
Thanks. But isn`t this a lot of the problem. Peoples relationship with money becoming uncoupled. I know many who have been caught up in the borrowing fest. I guess if someone as cough, cough well established as Northern !!!! offers you a 125 % mortgage a lot will take it on. If NR thinks I can pay it back it must be OK.0 -
