    Hi all,

    Jen- Hope DD feels better

CL- fingers crossed for your printer sells well!

YB- How old are you? Your life sounds good to me! Where you are now is where i want to be in a year. Mortgage & kids :)

Amy- House prices are dropping really quick! I check rightmove every week and prices have dropped by about £10-15k and they expect them to drop another 25% by 2010. Which is great news for us!

Welcome to the thread Rainbow Butterfly:D

Today i got my £60 tax rebate! :j Its come at a perfect time to go towards my car tax! In one hand and out the other in an instant!

I'm 31 Mariagti. I would also love to pay the mortgage off early but OH doesn't want to scrimp (nor do I) so have given up on that idea and I'll just set myself an isa challenge instead.

    How old are you?
I never thought I would have a mortgage to be honest, but I always wanted one.

WD on the tax rebate by the way

    evening all,

dd is a bit better but i was knackered and fell asleep on the sofa at tea time! dd got me up at 4.30 and she seems to feel ok about getting up do early! i was not

i dunno what to do about work. i felt really bad when i was there today. i had a meeting with my manager last week and i opened up and said i feel very nerous about group work. i find work hard at time as i ma not creative can't draw no ideas what colours go together, can't stick nothing up stiaght etc. i work in the childcare field and work with familes ffrom with children from borth to 5 years. so we display work on the walls etc which my work collegue does really well and i can't do i get very frustrated. group work is scary for me but i told her it will get better when i get going and more familuar with the familes etc i am willing to work though that fear.

yesterday i had a post it note left from my manager who i opened up to it said.... can you prepare a display board with photos and information from over the summer for a big meeting on weds.... my responce aaahhh sh*t!!

since then i have felt sick every morining i want to hand in my notice or phone in sick i don't want to tell her that i can't do it and i will end up in tears if i try which will be horrid!!

    WHAT DO I DO????

i have always found the job challanging and hard but thought it would do me good but i can't do a board and it sounds pathetic

Its not pathetic at all, i would be rubbish at something like that.

I am not sure what to suggest though, maybe you can do a little bit each day so you don't get overwhelmed trying to make it, can you ask your colleague for tips?

Its only a job at the end of the day don't make yourself ill over it x

((((hugs))))for you Jen, I know exactly how you feel. Have you tried searching online for display boards others have done ? Perhaps school websites?

I think your manager is trying to make you face your fear which is good but not exactly thoughtful after your conversation. I have no doubt that you can do it though, how big is the board? And how many pics do you have to use? Does it have to be decorated or just photos and writing?

i have no idea what she wants. it is just freaking me right out i will worry about it all weekend because it is one of the worse thing i have to do. i might google boards and see what i can find... however she underlined the word YOU. what she wrote can YOU do a board. so she is expect me to do it alone! i am so angry with her and it won't help me by doing it as it will look crap and i will feel worse.
