    Hi Rainbow Butterfly :hello:

It sounds like you have a plan of attack, which is great. Have you tried the "Up your income" board? It has loads of ideas on how to make some extra money.

Also ebay/amazon/play to sell all your unwanted items. Most of us on this thread seem to make a fair bit.

It may seem a long way away but 2010 is only 15 months away, which really isnt that long (or so i keep telling myself;) )

Hi Rainbow, hope you achieve your goals soon

Amy be quiet about how close 2010 is lol

I've just spent the last 45 mins on the phone to Barclays telling them the reason I can't log into online banking is because my partner was added to my account. I spoke to three people and they all said no it wouldn;t be that. Guess what after them making me log i about 100 times, it was because of that.
I'm not even trained and I'm telling them their job. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, sorry rant over.

I hope they've fixed it when I log on after lunch or there'll be trouble lol
  • How annoying, yukki. I hate call centres. In fact, I hate having to call anyone... :S

I hope my printer sells soon - it has quite a few watchers so fingers crossed! Pureprofile finally paid me today, and also one lot of Paypal money landed in my bank account so I'm feeling flush :D

Good luck Rainbow, Amy is right about selling stuff - I basically sell anything and everything that isn't nailed down! It's surprising just how much you can make.

Lol YB... ok its not that close... honest! :p

Ooooo banks make me mad. Barclays in particular. Im with HSBC but my sister has had so many problems with Barclays and the woman at the cash desk thingy didnt know anything about things she should of known.

Give 'em hell this afternoon if its not working, and demand an address and write a letter of complaint. :o

Hmmmm the saving for a deposit for a house might actually take longer than i originally thought. I may need to save up an extra £5K roughly for savings. I want to make sure I have some money behind me for "emergencies" like boiler repairs etc. and then also someone mentioned about having some savings for a few months (6-12 months) of mortgage payments "just in case". I didnt even think about that. So it could mean I wont be looking at a house until 2011 now. :(

Wohoo CL - fingers crossed for your printer. And wohoo again for your flushness! lol

  • My dad has had countless problems with Barclays, too. Then again I've had a lot of problems with HSBC... I switched to Lloyds a couple of years ago and they have been brilliant.
