Although to be fai they didn't rebrand Midland to HSBC until a few years ago (waiting for the exact year to be confirmed as I can't be bothered to Google for it)

yeah. Form returned 20/11, card received 28/11 and BT processed 30/11. Credit limit = £1,500

I cancelled my HSBC credit card in July this year. Does anyone know if I re-apply for this credit card, will i get the 0% offer?

I tried to apply today, but they say you cannot reapply until 6 months after cancellation of your last HSBC credit card.

I rang to apply and was told that my account status was "dormant" and not closed. I told them that I had received a letter stating that my account would be closed if I did not use it within 30 days. After speaking to a supervisor I was advised to write a letter explaining this and they may consider my appliaction. I will await their response and let you know what happens.
