    I just rang them up

0870 513 4200 (in case anyone else wants to)

they told me my c/l and it is only 3.5k, I asked for 15k. This could be due to my other stoozing operations or them being tight. Let me know how the rest of you get on.

Or better still call them for free.

You haven't forgotten that the most you can BT at 0% is £5K have you? The rest is at 6.9% I believe.

Didn't that condition relate to the Barclaycard? I hadn't seen this condition on the HSBC offer.

Sorry, ignore my last post. :o
  • Mr Smartsaver has just got a letter asking him to call them (about a credit card he dosn't yet know he's applied for :p). They need some further information. Anyone else had this letter  ?
  • I applied for a card last time they did 9mth 0%, i did it at my local branch and was offered a credit limit of £7000 as well as a gold card instead of their classic card. Don't earn anywhere near enough money to warrant that size of limit so set it £2500. Think these applications are best done in branch especially if in a hurry as you can show them all relevent i.d etc save having to post it. Only trouble now is my 9mths is up this month and need some where to move it too. Egg and barclaycard have both given me measley limits. Guess HSBC spoilt me first time round!!!!!

I was thinking of moving a stooze amount that comes due at the end of this year onto this card but wasn't sure if my rather overstoozed credit history would stand this and how long the offer would last

Luckily as I have my mortgage with hsbc (for the next few months anyway) this morning I received a pre-approved invitation with a decent credit limit, a stated closing date (19 December) and best yet no credit check - I think they just want to give me 200 quid for approx 2 mins effort...
    I think....

    Ah...hem..hum..hum..that's 0800 3281278 for the MSE cognoscenti.

Contributors should moderate their telephonic descriptions for maiden aunts and uncles such as myself. No point in provoking an apoplectic fit,eh?
