Wow i thought the 10 days were a maximum but it would most likely be lot less.
All they have to do is send the vouchers, they have cheked it before.0 -
yep, 10 days is about right. Dooyoo do check the reviews at the point of cash out and, due to illness etc over the recent weeks there may still be a bit of a backlog. I don't know though.
If you wait much longer than 10 days then email dooyoo or contact a guide and we'll do our best to see what the position is.
Sorry I just saw this and wondered why on earth they have 'pending points' if they check reviews on cash out?
Dont they check before they become redeemable?0 -
Well i know they manually check some cos i remember some earlier reviews of mine being locked after the points were made redeemable, but ive had my points sitting since November0
-
I think its an additional check method, if anyone has just been churning for the points they should be able to stop those people from ever reaching payout by asking them to redo reviews or removing them from the site.
As for how long vouchers take, I know over christmas they had some delays, mine took just under 3 weeks to arrive, but they're good about clearing the backlog so they should be back to around 10 days now, but they do pay as quickly as they can. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

ah 10 days is longer than i hoped, was hoping it would come instantly like valued opinions.
I thought i could get it faster than the vouchers i ordered through Consumer Pulse cos the item i want is running low on stock.
Btw it says 5 days is expected time to arrive, 10 days is when you should contact them though.
Btw 3 weeks is toooo long in my books0 -

There are two different checking issues - one is for abuse (like copying) and for quality. They make sure there are no abuse reports against a review for pending points, and they check for quality at redemption.
Hope that helps.

I personally think that people should be more understanding. As someone said there's been a back log on dooyoo because of sickness. I'm sure this was made worse by it only just being after Christmas and the amount of new members there are.
The two checks thing makes sense to me...must be a lot of work running dooyoo!0 -
I totally forgot I had an account with these!! Logged in and over 13,000 points have expired!!Dream of being mortgage free....

On any other site Id not have waited so patiently, but it was mentioned a few times that the dooyoo team had been struck by the Chrimble Lurgy, and when I emailled them after 2 weeks they replied and were very apologetic, but said people had been off ill so they were behind. It being dooyoo and as reliable as they are a few extra days wait isnt a major problem in my book. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

And there is soooo much dross on Dooyoo at the moment - both churners posting poor or substandard or unproofread stuff, or barely 150 words with little to no actual opinion, and/or actual dross/abuse - copying, padding etc.
I reported a user today who thought he could post three almost identical review of *ahem* durex lubricant varients, just varying the 'I like it/I don't like, it's thick/thin', and then challenging me when I NU'd it! That's why they need to check more than once.
Remember Dooyoo is a money making concern - in order for them to make money, and with the influx of abusers and poor reviewers (which are, of course, not necessarily one and the same) they need to make sure they are only paying out to legitimate reviews for legitimate reviews.
