I've noticed that on here (and other forums) people sometimes mention how many reviews another dooyoo user has read- is there a way of viewing how many reviews you (or another user) have read, as opposed to how many you or they have rated?

Yeah you can check your own read to rate ratio in the My Reviews bit on your Profile. The member statistics are visible on the left side of other people's profiles with how many reviews they have rated etc.

The "read" thing is unimportant though. It's much, much more important to rate (and rate honestly, of course). If you read it, then rate it. It's that simple.

Does anyone know if there's a way of getting points back that have expired? I hadn't logged in for ages and it seems I've lost a lot of money :(

    You can't - they're expired - the clue's in the name. :D

You could try emailing or PMing the powers that be at dooyoo (or asking a guide - I'm a guide - give me your username in a PM if you like) if you have extenuating circumstances, but as a general rule, once they've expired, they're gone (like milk that's gone off).

I would guess though that you won't get them back - remember, they now check reviews before paying out, and it's much harder to check for fraud on reviews over a year old.

How many miles did you lose?

    Good luck though.

Expired? how does that work? Do they only stay active for so long? Or is it when the account is inactive?

Miles expire 12 months after you earn them, so any you earn today will expire (become unredeemable) on 16th Jan 2010. Plus 30 days before they expire they show up as 'expiring soon' in the your account section so you are reminded to redeem them before they do.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

still happily going strong, judging from the ratings my reviews are much improved. I am taking part in the discussion side of it too which is fun. I can see myself posting reviews and rating for a while to come :D

Arggh is nowhere sacred! I stoped using Myspace and MSN because of all the nutters asking for photos and wanting to 'take our relationship further' (hmm hard that when you've never heard of them before :rotfl:). Now I've just had a PM on Dooyoo asking for my email, so I can get some photos and move on from there

LOL email a Guide or dooyoo themselves and they will sort it. Don't forget you can block members if you have too!

I usually get ones saying they like the look of my profile or can offer me a share in 10 million Nigerian dollars if only I provide my bank details:rotfl:
