Dooyoo are taking review quality far more seriously these days but it really doesn't take much effort to get the quality to an acceptable level. Fell free, anyone, to give me a shout if you need help. My user name on dooyoo is the same as on here. PMs there are likely to get a quicker response though!

I'm a bit annoyed too. I did a good review on the crowne plaza heidleberg and the review has vanished into thin air!! no idea where or why

Odd. PM me your dooyoo user name if you'd like me to see what I can find out.

If you go back to the category does it still give you the option to "post your review" or does it say "edit your review"? It could be that you didn't actually go through the full submit process (the first time you see your review when you post it is a preview screen - although I'm sure you realised that).

I too got email from Dooyoo that 2 of my reviews are not upto the standard and they JUST CLOSED MY ACCOUNT...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really surprised to see that mail......and even wrote them that they can remove those 2 reviews and give me an opportunity to improve myself.

I can really understand that we should write the standard reviews but when I don't mind to remove any reviews which are below their expected standard, without altogether closing the account.

I am also much worried now.............CAN ANYONE HERE HELP ME PLEASE........I REALLY MISS THE DOOYOO AND THE DOOYOO COMMUNITY AS WELL.................!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dooyoo are really cracking down on folks they think are taking the site for a ride - it's not hard to bring reviews up to standard though so, to all other users, take note!

Just incase there are those reading this thread who think that dooyoo will tread lightly on sub-standard opinions then think again. Dooyoo are showing a much firmer hand here than they have traditionally and have stated that they haven't the time or inclination to negotiate individual accounts or opinions within those accounts. They'll try to be fair but rules is rules.

Best advice is write to the best of your ability and make sure that you really do put real opinion in there. Lists, ingredients, track listings and so on are not opinion. Clever character or word use to up your word count are also not opinion. Copied work is NEVER opinion.

Dooyoo (and the other op sites) is a way of making money but you'll get so much more out of it with effort. 150 words is not much and it's easy to do. You'll probably find though, that you'll easily double that word count for good ops. Length isn't everything though it's what is said that counts.
