Odd. PM me your dooyoo user name if you'd like me to see what I can find out.

If you go back to the category does it still give you the option to "post your review" or does it say "edit your review"? It could be that you didn't actually go through the full submit process (the first time you see your review when you post it is a preview screen - although I'm sure you realised that).
    hi thanks its missmotley

The reviews been up for a couple of weeks, received comments and good ratings and was about 800 words in length I think.

But I cant see an option to edit or preview or anything. Its just not there.

All sorted now - your review should be visible again! It was, as I suggested, a back end issue.
  • I've just joined dooyoo - written 2 reviews, rated 3 and received 3 ratings back (at time of writing)! Boo-ya!

    * now cowering shame at use of the term "boo-ya!" *
  • Anything from a few days to a few weeks depending on their workload. If you have waited a while contact a Guide and they can usually get a quicker response.

Thanks; I got a very prompt response and resolution to my query and everything's ok now. :D
  • Ive cancelled my account on dooyoo as did enough reveiws which took hours to get a £10 amazon voucher.Received an e-mail to confirm my redemption.Didnt hear any more so e-mailed them and was rudely told some of my reviews werent up to scratch and i would have to improve them to get my voucher.I thought this was scandelous as id been led to beleive id already earned a voucher .Im a member of a lot of other survey and cashback sites and this is the worst ive ever come across.I want nothing more to do with them.
  • I have a locked review but I have updated it now but the rest were fine but when do they check it and unlock it or tell me to remove it so I can get my £10 Amazon voucher?
    Every little helps

I can understand your frustration but to be fair those emails you receive are automated to confirm your redemption and are obviously so. Dooyoo always check that you have gained your miles fairly before redemption and if any of your reviews are not up to the standards of their terms and conditions they have the write to withhold payment. They would have issued your voucher once you had made changes and I can only presume your reviews were mainly facts, track listing, ingredients etc.

I'd drop them an email or PM and let them know that you made changes. You should get a reasonably prompt reply.

    Cheers
  • I recently had my account cancelled as well, I couldn't believe it as I thought I had written good quality reviews, I always make sure my spelling is correct and grammar is as good as possible. I wrote a lot of reviews in the pets/animals section (since that is one of my main interests) so I think they would rather you write about actual products. I had quite a lot of points but I hadn't even tried to redeem them since I was going to go back and make sure the reviews were good enough first since they emailed me back in August I think, saying that my reviews weren't good enough. It's very disappointing, and such a waste of time when you have spent so long typing out reviews and researching details to hopefully write a better review!
    money earned online so far:
pigsback: €100 irishopinions: €80 onepoll: £40/£40 ipoints £30 toluna: £10. Bview: £30 amazon vouchers. £5 amazon voucher from survey. Dooyoo: £35 vouchers.
  • I just joined last week and have written 8 reviews so far. I am now holding off writing anymore until I know what I have written is ok. I am enjoying writing them and the potential of an Amazon voucher is a bonus rather than an incentive.
I must admit I am a little pertubed by a couple of the reviews that I have read, one of which was without punctuation and had some bad spelling. I would be gutted if then told that mine weren't good enough
