    Hi all,
Whilst my transaction with this company was not the best and smoothest transactions I am now satisfied with the outcome. I would also like to add the following quote from Clickshop.com

"Clickshop have advised that should anyone else have a problem, to get
in touch with them on sales [at] clickshop.com and include your order
number in the subject line or use the contact us form. Please also
make sure that you check your junk mail folder."

    Hi All,

To add to the above I too have now contacted Consumer Direct as goods that I ordered for delivery by Christmas have still not arrived and whilst Sef seems like a helpful person I am still without the goods I ordered.
  • Another sad story of no goods being delivered. Initially very helpful, all went quiet when I asked for a refund. Have now raised a dispute via my bank. Have left a message on Click's website informing them I am taking this to Trading Standards.
  • I became anxious about the non delivery of my goods after several emails, and came upon this thread, which escalated my concerns. I mentioned my concerns to clickshop.com, who advised that all customers have had their issues resolved satisfactorily, and offered to refund my money (I declined). About a week later (over a month after ordering), my goods have now arrived. Not sure if this is just a badly run company - but if they actually do refund monies and send goods, as they offered to me, surely they will soon be a bankrupt company?

Looks like I should of googled this company before I made that order at 8:30 this morning... but whos thinking that clearly at that hour!?

Well I paid for special delivery & my order status hasn't changed all day. I wanted an iPad case for next week as I'm going away. I've put a message on my order & sent them an email asking to cancel the order because it's not been processed. After reading this I suspect that won't happen & I've got a fight on my hands.
  • Hi Clickshop.com has asked us to post a response on the thread. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the Forum.

    Dear Customers,

In response to some of the posts above we would like to make clear that any problems our customers have are resolved as quickly as possible. Please contact us before making any posts or contacting third parties and allow us a chance to resolve your problems. If you have not received a response from us please make sure you check your junk mail folder or send an email to sales@clickshop.com quoting your order number or postcode in the subject line.

As much as we would like for every transaction to be processed and delivered without any issues, sometimes things do go wrong. When this is the case we will do whatever we can to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

We aim to respond to all emails and messages within the hour during normal working hours and try to resolve your problems the same day. We would prefer you message us using our messaging terminal which you can access using your login details or click on the link provided in your order confirmation email. This way we have a record of all conversations and allows us to make a response quicker.

If for some reason you are not able to access the messaging terminal or you have tried to contact us via another method and have not received a response, you may email us on complaints@clickshop.com together with your order number or postcode in the subject line and your email will be given priority. Please be sure to check your junk mail folder if you are not able to see a response within 24 hours.

Thank you for taking your time to read our post and we hope this has been of some help.

    Kind Regards,
    The Clickshop.Com Team.

I ordered an item 04 Feb 2013 and messaged the site on 12 Feb asking if it had shipped. Said would check and get it sorted. Messaged again 04 March, got excuse that their stock was damaged, more arriving end of week. Messaged 14 March saying if not shipped by 15 March, please refund; was promised goods and refund. Messaged 02 April, gave deadline of 5 April to refund or ship else I will initiate chargeback; responded with refund was issued (it wasn't) and could I verify last four digits of card used. I did so, no further responses, goods or refund. On 10 April I contacted my credit card company to chargeback.

I expect site owner was trying to get purchase past 120 day limit for chargeback. So very glad I used a credit card instead of debit card, otherwise I would have had no recourse. Caveat emptor.

Update: On 12 April, after the chargeback was initiated, clickshop.com finally refunded my payment and promised the item for free and I received the following explanation, "I can see that our refund was processed a while before this and the reason for the delay may have been due to a system upgrade issue which affected some of our transactions including refunds."

I remain unconvinced of the truth surrounding this claim, as evidenced by the repeated excuses of why the item hadn't shipped, previous promises of free items, claims that the refund had been processed over the last two and a half months.

All consumers should make basic checks when they shop online with companies that they do not know. A good internet trading company will show:

    (1) Their name and geographic address on https://www.who.is Listing themselves as a trading business. And NOT use masking/privacy services.
    (2) Have a geographical address that you can trace and see on Google.
    (3) Have a webcontact form, email adress and landline number.

I personally would not shop with ClickShopbecause:

    (1) They mask their ID on who.is
    (2) They display a UK address which is a newsagent/accommodation address. Google the address to see what other businesses are located there. Use Google Streetview too.
    (3) There is no geographical landline number - do not accept 0800, 0845, 0844 numbers as these are as disposable as PAYG mobiles.
    (4) If the only form of contact on a website is only a webcontact form then AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Seems that ClickShop are too reliant on blaming junk mail folder issues. How weak and pathetic....

I ordered a couple of items back at the end of February 2013.

Unfortunately my order didn't come through and after a month or so of emails back and forth trying to sort things out, I had a full refund and apology.
