lots of newbies with no patience.
  • Obviously still happening, like everyone I wished I had looked here first!

A month on, no product or refund after several assurances, I have emailed them again today with little hope of action, next stop will be trading standards

Sef at Clickshop emailed me following an order that went astray. Offered a full refund and upgraded the order I wanted, delivered the next day
  • Do not purchase anything from Clickshop.com.

I ordered an ipod dock at the beginning of January. I had read some bad reviews of the company but thought I would try my luck since the ipod dock wasn't available anywhere else for the same price. After waiting nearly two weeks, there was no indication that my order had even been dispatched, so I emailed to complain. Clickshop are always extremely quick to respond, but this seems to just be a stalling technique and nothing actually gets done to progress your order. They told me that they were looking into it and would get back to me. 3 days later no news, so I emailed again. Once more, a quick response - apparently "a issue with the power supply" [sic] was to blame, and my order would arrive in a few days time. Another week came and went, so sent a very firmly worded email requesting my order to be couriered to me within two working days or a full refund would be required. After a bit of back and forth they promised that my order would arrive by courier within two working days, as requested, and they would send me the tracking number for the parcel. Of course, this deadline came and went, with no indication that my order had even been dispatched.

At this point I had lost all hope of receiving my order or even getting money back. Having read so many bad reviews I am pretty sure that this company isn't so much incompetent, as fraudulent. Anyway, at this point I threatened to report them to Trading Standards and to BBC Watchdog unless I received a proof of payment straightaway indicating that my money had been refunded. I received this, and today, finally, I can see that they refund has reached my bank account.

I would encourage anyone else having problems with Clickshop to do the same as I did - if your order doesn't arrive within a reasonable time-frame don't wait around for it optimistically or listen to their excuses. Just demand an immediate refund, tell them that they must send you a proof of payment via email straightaway, and threaten to report them to the authorities if you don't receive this immediately.

Oh, and needless to say, my order has yet to turn up, let alone been despatched, even though they said it still would be sent to me.
  • In an update to my message below, Clickshop contacted me after I posted some negative reviews and offered to send my product to me if I deleted or amended the reviews. I'm pleased to report that today I finally received the item I originally ordered. A happy ending, although I wouldn't go through the hassle again!
  • Ordered Kindle case from CLICKSHOP on internet and paid by credit card, the promised delivery date came and went, no delivery. Sent email to CLICKSHOP, quick reply with apology and advised that they would send another, felt assured and waited for delivery. It never came, sent another email asking them for reason for none delivery and advising that if they cannot fulfil order to refund payment. I did not here anymore from them. As I paid by credit card (AMEX) I was able to get a refund from the credit card company. As I had not used this company before, prior to ordering I checked for reviews on the web, a site called, 'Trustpilot.co.uk' showed a number of glowing reports for them, however, this forum shows what I believe to be a more realistic indication of the reliability of this company. I would recommend staying well clear of CLICKSHOP.....
  • Only ordered once, and it was such a bad experience, this is the first time I've ever signed up to a forum to post a review.

Firstly, they told me a particular item was in stock and took my payment with expatiated shipping (2-5 days) Happy days I thought.

    2 weeks go by...nothing.

    4 weeks...

I get back in contact and I get the reply "someone is looking into your request, it wasn't dealt with at the time. Apologies..." etc etc and said they'd refund my payment for expediated shipping for the delay.

Fair enough, I thought, everyone makes mistakes

Couple of weeks after, still nothing. E-mailed again, said that they wouldn't be able to get the item for me and offered a refund and cancelled my order.

Took another 2 weeks for my refund to come through. Bear in mind, throughout this entire time, the website showed the item as
    "in stock" and still does.

Honestly seems like a terrible waste of time. Customer service was terrible, no phone number to contact them at all. Wouldn't waste my time again, and I urge other people not to as well. As I said, first time I've ever bothered to do an online review, and as they don't have a review section on their own website (alarm bells should have been ringing when I noticed that) I thought I may as well post here.

After a lot of digging on the company - refund sent (well we will see if it arrives)

If they owe you money email them demanding a refund. If no luck then contact me on facebook. I intend to compile all the cases and pursue this so people get there money back. I am a debt collector who feels strongly about right and wrong.
