The aldi trolleys are always clean, they have kiddy seats and they also have a couple of the disabled trolleys. The store is always clean as is other branches we have called in. Their fresh lasagne is lovely. It is £2.99 for a family size tray. No additives either. Love all of their yoghurts. Friendly staff too. They take debit cards and give cash back too.

box of 9 fromage frais in tubes £1.29
    Premium pork sausage 79p
    4 x 200g multipack of rindless bacon £2.99
    beans 15p
    sunflower spread 45p
    digestive biscuits 39p
    custard creams 29p
    eggs (10 large) 79p
    wholegrain bio yoghurt 29p
    creamy yohurt 19p

Their frozen salmon portions are also the biz.

The local netto stores are rather dirty so dont go there much and we do not have a lidl.

I used to work at Netto on Saturday's when I was at school. It was very embarrassing, but it was a well paid job & it was so much fun working there.

I still ocassionally shop in Nettos to do a "Big shop", to buy tinned tomatoes/beans/pasta/spaghetti, the basics really. And they are definately a whole lot cheaper than even buying the other well known supermarkets own brands.

I remember when I worked there, they sold Walkers Crisps, cans of Tango, and Mars Bars (all on separate ocasions) for 9p each. I cant say ive been to Aldi/Lidl much, but will go to Nettos if I have the time (and the energy) to do a big shop.

But it definately holds a fondness in my heart :0)

People who do all of their grocery shopping in M&S or Waitrose?? WHY????????? I have seen people with trolley loads, it amazes me. Some people are just so stupid!!

I also know someone that does their grocery shopping at Harrods. Yep really!!

    xx
