Sammy, this cleaning thing freaks me out a bit-far too 'in depth' for me...I do do those things on the list, but writing it all down is just weird, lol.

And re.testing fire alarm...I do that everytime I cook!!!! lol

Going to go get car sorted this am and continue getting clothes washed, ironed and packed for HOLIDAY on Sat. We need to take bedding (well, pillow cases etc) so want to wash them and get them on the line asap!

Kept 'seeing' Turkey last night-it's strange ins't it...

    Where are peeps today.......

I have a couple of things to pay for coming up (apart from christmas!) I have my revision courses to pay for in November and I have my running weekend in January to pay for so I have this morning set up a new e-saver account with the Natwest. It pays 4.3% interest but pays £50 cash after 12 months. All you have to do is pay a minimum of £100 in per month (you could take it out again every month though if you wanted to). It was one of Martins tips.

Not too good at saving so lets see how good I can be:rotfl:

Bunny it freaks me out too, its not my list you do know that don't you... Someone called me a domestic goddess yesterday!!!! Its from the Moneysaving oldstyle board, but I am really scared to go in there!!!!

BUT - my house, while its tidy, is sadly lacking in the cleaning dept...and the things on this list are things I would never do, so its a way of focusing me to do something properly.

I am hoping if I do it for August it may become a habit. I have more exams coming up in December and I need to be a bit more focused than I was this time, so I am trying to become more organised......ha ha...

I can't even do the beds! Everyone is still in them!

Morning everyone - Sammy another busy day ahead for you by the looks of it! I did manage to clean the bathroom yesterday there is something very satisying about having a shiny bath!

Bunny - have a nici holiday - really sorry about Turkey. OH used to 'feel' his cat rubbing round his legs after he had gone.

Not sure what we are doing today - DD wants to go to a farm so another pricey day ahead! xx

morning - off to work in a bit. It's very quiet for me there at the moment and I'm trying to stretch work out which makes the time drag.

  • Morning everyone :)

Just got to boast that ALREADY today I have hoovered, and am on my second load of washing - a first in a looooooong time, believe me!

I am going to try and get loads done today so that tomorrow I can just focus on my last long driving lesson before Saturday... being positive about it, the aim is to have loads done so I can drive this weekend, but if it goes horribly wrong at least I can sit crying my heart out in a clean and tidy house

I have got shopping coming from Waitrose this morning (with £15 off thanks to Martin :money: ) and a delivery of stairgates to stop my little mountain climber... so I might just be forced to stay on the computer so I can hear the door! :D

    Morning all

Off to Paultons Park today (got a season ticket), weather iffy but not raining yet!

My friend who is very rich drinks Laurent Perrier Rose champagne, we had 2 bottles of it when I was round hers a while back, it's delicious. Anyway, I've just had a look online at it, and the cheapest I found was £48 a bottle speechless-smiley-040.gif
    so I guess I won't be buying any rolleyes.gif

Bun - I guess that's natural, hope you're ok xxx
