Hi,
I have my 3 aged (11, 12 and 13 years old) cats insured with Healthy Pets who accept animals at any age. For all 3 cats, I pay £16 pm. They are underwritten by AXA and I have found that they pay out quickly (within the month).

I couldn't recommend them highly enough to be honest.
Hope this helps someone out there.0 -
Does anyone have any experience of Argos's pet insurance? We're thinking about insuring our 1 year old neutered male moggy; they're coming up fairly inexpensive, but how are they to deal with?
Healthy Pets and M&S have also been recommended, but looking at Review Centre, neither of them are coming up brilliantly. I suspect our cat may have cystitis, so we're taking him to the vet this week, if this is the case would any insurer refuse to cover him or exclude this condition for cover?2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Hi,
Can anyone help? I have just bought a new puppy & wanted to know who would be the best company to insure her with! Obviously I want the best cover at the best price.
Thanks in advance

My dog is with Marks and Spencer £143 for the year £0 excess. They have been really good and we can even claim for her food (she is on a special diet)

I discovered this by accident.
I can add pet insurance to my household insurance policy.
It's costing me £26/cat/year
If you're looking for pet insurance it could be worth checking yours.

Make sure you check the cover first. Is there a per year limit with an exclusion after the end of the first year? Or a lifetime limit per illness? Either will leave you high and dry if your pet gets a lifelong illness, an no-one else will cover the condition once it has been diagnosed. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

Thanks Bagpuss,
I will check them out,

With Sainsbury - so far so good. Good policy. Price will vary with type of dog you have - E.Q. the breed, whether pedigree or cross, and location.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0

I have a new puppy too. We have one month's free insurance with Petplan which was provided by our vet but I'm looking into insurance for when that runs out. I think M&S are the only ones that give an option of nil excess for a slightly (extra £12 a year for me) increased premium.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Yes
£1,500 per year/cat with an exclusion after the first year, but that has applied to every insurance I've looked at - when I've got down to the small print.0
