Will leave it another week then ring them if I need too.
Recently had an issue trying to track my recycling points from sending ink cartridges in. I'd put down my Clubcard Plus number (which I've always done and which is 2 digits shorter than a normal Clubcard number).
The lady at the recycling place couldn't find any reference to it when I checked with them and assumed that the items I sent in must still be waiting to be processed. But when I phoned Clubcard direct, they said that the points had already been credited to my account. The reason I knew was because there were 2 lots of 400 points (4 cartridges in each envelope etc) against my account for recycling.0 -
Can anyone give me a definitive answer on Tesco mobile phone recycling. I know that Tesco have clamped down on the use of old 500 and 300 point envelopes and will only give 200 points as per the latest envelopes for a working phone. But it used to be 5 phones per year per clubcard holder and this is supported by the rules in this Tesco Telecoms page http://www.tescomobilerecycle.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=11&Itemid=24
which contain these rules:
There is a limit of 5 phones per Customer in any 12 month period. If you send in more than this number, their value will be donated to charity.
These envelopes are valid for receiving Clubcard Point rewards ONLY. If your mobile model is listed and you wish to receive Giftcard or Tesco Mobile Airtime rewards please DO NOT use these envelopes.
Current terms and conditions will apply to all recycling envelopes without an expiry date.
All proceeds will automatically be donated to Tesco's charity of the year where terms and conditions are breached.
If you have picked up a mobile phone recycling envelope in store that states 500 or 300 points, please be aware that these envelopes are now outdated. Tesco is enforcing the current envelope point value of 200 points for working and 50 points for non working phones, irrespective of the envelope that the mobile phone is posted in.
Whereas in this Tesco Greenerliving page
http://www.tesco.com/greenerliving/greener_tesco/mobile_phone_recycling_terms.page?
This is a consumer-only scheme for mobiles used for personal use.
There is a limit of five mobiles per household per year.
The scheme can be withdrawn or amended at any time and without prior notice.
To enable us to give either 200 green Clubcard points to you or £2 to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, or 50 green Clubcard points to you or 50p to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, you must complete or provide the relevant details.
<LI done0="0">Current terms and conditions apply to all recycling envelopes without an expiry date.
So is it 5 per cardholder or 5 per household? And is it 5 in a calendar year or 5 in any 12 month period?0 -
Easiest way for us to get extra clubcard points is via a tesco "finest" platinum credit card , as you get more points for every pound you spend ( I think you have to be earning over £20k a year ) . My wife and I put everything through the card ( as well as shopping at Tesco) and pay it off each month. We get around £70-80 a quarter x 4 ( in rewards) = £320 . We are waiting for our next lot of rewards and are then booking a weeks cruise next year with Cunard on the Queen Victoria . All FREE ( We have over £2k worth as we have been saving up for about 18 months now ) . The cruises , i.e cunard , p&0 and ocean village there is no limit to how much in vouchers you can exchange , but with some of the others travel companies like Virgin and Cosmos there are limits . The key to this method is to MAKE SURE YOU PAY THE BALANCE OFF EVERY MONTH otherwise you will end up paying through the nose in interest0

I am boycotting Tesco's at the moment due to the withdrawal of their coupon policy and have started using a Halifax 9 month interest free card instead. I will invest the money in a savings account and get some cash back that way.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Noticed some new points offers this morning, 150 points when you buy a main course and a dessert from a new range of 'posh' ready meals. Seem to be quite pricey, though, the cheapest main course was about a fiver, coquille St Jacques type scallop dish, and the puds were about three quid, but a very nice selection for a special meal.0

they give you extra 1000 points for selected pay as u go handsets.I ordered samsung j700(vodafone) for £48.89(free delivery) and used 500 bonus points coupon(u can find on tesco vouchers thread).

I have this card and you get 1 extra point for every £2 you spend. Unfortunatley you can't apply for this card any more and it's replacement, the Clubcard Credit Card only gives you 1 extra point for every £4 you spend so it'll take you twice as much money to get the same points. If you spend £1000 a month on the card you will get 250 points (not counting the points you get if some of your shopping is at Tesco's) worth £2.50 or up to £10 in deals.

Thats a shame about the finest card . Hope they dont change my card or I will be changing it to one where you get free flights . Details on this site0 -
