Same happened to me when buying two bottles. CS called HQ and were told they would be on my next statement. I didn't really belief it so rang clubcard. Clubcard said no all bonus points should show on the receipt. They rang the store I bought them at who told clubcard the offer was not on the Martell. I said it was on the self ticket but obviously I couldn't prove it. Decided to give it up as a bad job and take the two bottles back. Explained to different CS lady who said she would check, she returned with end of label showing 800 points and added them manually. Good result but what a lot of hassle.

Went to buy mine today ay my local store ; Portsmouth N Harbour. Six bottles ; no points ( should have had 4800). Straight to cust services, who call somebody from the aisle who couldn't help - she was then on the phone to Clubcard getting fobbed off - eventually told they will appear " later" - they need to make sure I don't return them! Am about to write a snotty to tesco - if points are not to appear immediately then that should be apparent. Might also inform my local trading standards just for their info.

There's no reason they should appear "later" - they are just fobbing you off! All other bonus points - last wine ones and the current perfume & aftershave ones appear on your receipt, so champagne ones should too.
  • This happened to me today nightmare why don't customer services no whet they are doing. Is there a number for clubcard so i can get customer services to ring them and put my points on. Cheers

just bought one of those 1000 point phones online as a spare... ;-)
  • I bought 6 bottles of Martel on Saturday. The points didn't show on my till receipt, so I went to the customer services desk to get them added manually. The girl went off to check the shelf tag, and having seen it, my points were added. If they hadn't added my points, I would have asked for a refund on the champagne. No way would I leave on some vague promise that the points would be added 'later', especially as the 100 extra points on a bottle of red wine *had* been added to my receipt.

I also tried to buy four of the 1000 point phones, and completed the order online, including authorized Tesco Clubcard credit card payment. I got an email overnight, saying my order had been cancelled due to a CC authorization problem.

    Just found this :

Orders for mobile phones are limited to 2 phones per household per day, up to a maximum of 5 mobile phones per month. Orders exceeding these limits may be cancelled

    here - http://direct.tesco.com/help/directtermsandconditions.aspx

    - not sure why they would blamea CC authorization problem though:confused:

HI all! What a fab thread, am making my way through it as I am trying to save airmiles for a good trip some point! (all tips gratefully received! I have just got Tesco credit card)

Just to say there is an automated recycling centre in Glasgow at the Shettleston branch..it's all very clever! Was a bit dissapointed to discover you only got points for cans and nothing else tho....
I can't look into the future, but the futures where I'm walking to

Note you only get points for the aluminium cans (normally the drinks ones are aluminium) - and then it's 2 cans to get one point. Not really a good return, but every little bit helps.;)
