    Hi Guys

First post and all that, so please bear with me!!!!

Im trying to boost my clubcard points as much as possible to convert into airmiles.
Is there a section on the tesco website that lists all the double, triple points offers every week?
I saw on last weeks money saving email, the deal about the 500 bonus points on certain perfumes/aftershave. I had planned to buy some from my local tesco extra but when i got there I couldnt find any of the ones with the extra clubcard points and even now I cant seem to find them online for home delivery. Is this a common occurance or am I missing something?

I plan to read through as muchas this thread as possible tonight, but any hints/tips etc would be most appreciated!!!!

    Cheers.... Bren

The site listing the current tesco points offers is here. For the better value and bigger points offer ones (ala perfume etc) you will need to be quick because you will often find that by the time Martin mentions it in his weekly newsletter, the offer has pretty much already been exhausted and sold out because most people have picked up on it earlier.

The other point of note is to trawl the MSE forum threads because using the collective knowledge from the MSE members, that is normally where someone will post a 'find' first to give everyone a heads-up.

They do something funny with your clubcard nos. tho - I think they merge your existing Clubcard onto your credit card and the clubcard number that then shows up on your receipt is somthing completely different again! In case you're wondering what that number relates to!

Also you can't check your new balance online. You put in your original clubcard number and it just shows what the balance was when it merged! Still, I'm doing quite well at the mo, having bought my car mainly on my Tesco credit card last year!

that makes sense now, they asked for my clubcard number yesterday so that was pressumably to merge that with the credit card behind the scenes so whichever one i use they'll be able to credit the account. thats useful too about logging into the site, had always just used the receipts

i happened to find that site a few weeks ago and its somehow helped me to rack up hundreds of points in a few weeks which would normally have taken us months lol

anyway, when ive checked on there the last few days (and ive hopped on there just now too), ive noticed that the offers have been removed once the expiry dates have lapsed but no new ones seem to have replaced them - are there others waiting to be added or is the site only updated every week/fortnight?

    Cheers for the reply

I think ill use that website to boost my points on normal shopping goods and wait for the bigger points offers (a la perfume) and try and take full advantage of those offers. Which is what most people do I assume???

How often does that supermarket savings website get updated?

Any idea how long this offer lasts? did it finish with a lot of the others yesterday?

I can confirm I also bought a bottle of the mertell yesterday. Came on here to post it but someone had got here first!! I didn't properly catch the date but I'm sure it was sometime in August the offer finished, although dont quote me on there.

I just found if you have a temporary card they wipe off any points older than 3 months........apparently laziness doesn't pay!!
