By using a clubcard credit card, you get 5 points for every £4 you spend. I.e. you get one extra point per £4 than if you were using a regular clubcard. The literature on this can be confusing, as you may have thought that was 5 extra points per £4, but it is the total of tpf and normal points altogether.
Remember that you also get one point per £4 spent wherever you spend money - tesco or not.
Hope that helps!0 -
 I use my Tesco vouchers for anything other than my shopping. We have had nights in 4* hotels, paid our English Heritage Membership, had days out and paid for ferry fares. BUT DID YOU KNOW IF YOU DON'T USE ALL OF YOUR DEALS VOUCHERS YOU CAN EXCHANGE THEM BACK FOR THE NORMAL TESCO VOUCHERS. THEN YOU CAN SAVE THEM UP FOR FOR MORE DEALS VOUCHERS. Because the deals vouchers have to be used for the deals specified there is no need to miss out on points or money Just send them back with your details and you will be credited with the points on your next statement. Don't forget to use the extra points vouchers that come with your statement.0

I worked for Tesco and if the staff were found to be doing this it is instant suspension with loss of all points/card/staff card and, after investigation, maybe dismissal. However if you claim points that aren't yours for money you haven't spent then I think you can be prosecuted for theft. If you accumulate a disproportionate amount of points then you can be investigated through the clubcard records to compare points today with those of say 2-3 years ago. You could lose your card and be banned form having another and/or banned from all Tesco Stores. The company view it as theft and treat it as such.0

Is it a form of credit card?0

No its like a debit card just for Tesco outlets including petrol.
You sign up for a direct debit on your application form this can be for as little as £10 per month - I put £50 on then add money on (top up) at customer services counters in any Tesco store.
You can manage your account on-line and view all transactions. You can also check your balance with telephone banking this gives you a freephone number 0800 783 8001 to check your balance before you shop.
