I do wish that Tesco would provide a statement of points gained so we can keep track of them, there have been times when I was sure I should have more.

If Sainsbury's can do it (via Nectar points) then I can't see why Tesco don't.

Probably because most people don't keep track of the clubcard points earned and are none the wiser if points go "missing".

This happend to me with the pre-order on CD and Videos promotion. I am still short of 500 points but I am just being sent on a merry goose chase, from tesco entertainment and clubcard points and back again......is is such a pain......I too think they should have a proper statement as the one that is sent out with our vouchers is so vague, I never have a clue how they work it out! One minute I am being told it will be added to entertainment the next I am being told it will show on the normal points! AGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Best filing system is The Spike: they all go on there, every bit of Mr T p/w. When the qtrly post comes, I know how many points there should be on spending, promo's, CC+, green bags, wombling, PAYG top-up bonus, etc.

I'm high tech - my spike has been swapped for a spreadsheet! But it makes no difference - I can still never work out exactly where points have vanished from!

Me too! (how sad are we :o )
I check Tesco clubacrd website several times a week for points balance and although I still sometimes have a few points I can't identify, generally I'm able to keep a much better track of my points now.

I still check points, but the bits of paper are what's necessary to check/effect refunds, DTD's, till msgs, spits etc. and they don't number anything like hundreds, creditcrunched, just a few tens.

  • Hi

Anyone know the current policy on wombling? Picked up 2x £70+ receipts yesterday but it was 5 minutes b4 closing and didnt have time - does it have to be the store that issued them? (went to a big extra 40 miles away to get fuel as well - not my usual store)

So far as I know, it's still 2 wombles max. per day per visit, not to be more than a fortnight old[barely weaned, actually]
