Just tried to sign up to the Tesco DVD rental. It is not 2 DVD's for £4. It is 1 DVD for £4 orr 2 DVD's for £6 for the Limited Value package rental. Thought the deal was too good to be true. Have not completed the registration.
Edited to add: obviously the clubcard points are still good, I had thought that it was excellent value for 2 DVD's for £4!0 -

You can still use the vouchers for £700 of virgin holidays. Thats enough for 5 or 6 days and flights to New York, or a week/10 days in Florida.
I've been wondering about this - with the double airmiles offer on at the mo, whether to convert my points to airmiles, or keep them for a Virgin holiday instead...? I know that airmiles can be difficult with availability, but I'm not looking for flights to Oz, Florida or any other popular destinations like that, so should be ok to get flights where I would go. any thoughts on what to go for...?I don't think I can hang on til Friday...0 -

I thought the double airmiles offer is finished?0 -
prepay 6 months and get 750 points (not credited immediately it seems)
If you want to reduce the rate - logon to your account and make any changes.
2 DVD's per month = £19 something - so almost £11 profit[/QUOTE]
I just had a look at this and it states that:
" This offer applies only to recipients of this mailing and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer."
Do you think I wont get the points if I go ahead with the prepay?Money is a good servant but a bad master.0 -

Thank you for that.
Now when you can get double points it might be worth it to exchange?
I always thought that Airmiles are really poor value when it comes to exchanging your Tesco vouchers for Airmiles... As you need £62.50 of TESCO vouchers!!! for flight to Prague, but for £62.50 of TV you can get £250 for restaurants and the money you saved on your restaurant spend use on 2-3 flights to Prague...
Or are there any specials you can get with airmiles I am not aware of?0 -

Yes, but if can't find a cheaper alternative they can be good BUT depends on your circumstances.
I needed to get to Paris in high summer the cheapest ticket was £175, so I spent £31.25 in vouchers instead, worth £125, so saved £50.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
