I am now looking for alternative ways to spend my Clubcard vouchers as Cosmos are obviously very poor value for money. I expect that Cosmos will soon be leaving the Tesco Clubcard scheme as they are no longer able to offer competitive holidays. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Tesco Clubcard vouchers for a holiday to shop around and compare prices before booking with Cosmos!
Having booked my holiday elsewhere I now have £800 of vouchers to spend on deals! What deals offer best value for money nowadays?0 -
Received a mailing this morning.
It reads that all new Credit card customers get 1 point per £2 spend outside Tesco. i got my card years ago, and got this rate. Tesco changed it about 3 years ago to 1 point in every £4 spend. Looks like its gone back to the old rate for new customers - the mailing doesn't specify if customers on the 1 in £4 rate will benefit from the new customer rate.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Check the new MSE email, you can now earn 1000 points by signing up to the dvd rental on Tesco entertainment. Have to rent a dvd in every month for 3 months. Minimum spend £12 to get a £28 profit in club card deals. Not open to existing members.0

FOR EXISTING MEMBERS OF THE DVD RENTAL SCHEME
http://www.tescodvdrental.com/offers/febprepay750.html
prepay 6 months and get 750 points (not credited immediately it seems)
If you want to reduce the rate - logon to your account and make any changes.
2 DVD's per month = £19 something - so almost £11 profit............... Have you ever wondered what

Be careful with RAC cover - can't remember what the Tesco price was, but I did it through quidco getting £20 cashback, so effectively paid £8 for a years basic membership. Definately not worth using a voucher on for that one!
The other ones are great though. Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

That's it. I think I am going to cancel my card as I alway got only 1 point for £4 and that is completely rubbish.
It's only taking up my available credit that I can use for better cards.
And maybe apply again later to get more points.0
