I'm missing five pounds off my new point total - but I'm in the christmas club. I'll have to keep an eye open for the voucher and send it straight back.

Rang head office today for a new clubcard and was told they've stopped offering the clubcard plus to new customers now - but anyone with it can keep it.

I do it but only every now and again, maybe once a fortnight and only if the receipt is for 6 points or more!

I'm a bit more choosy as I only do it for 20 points or more receipts, tend to find a couple a month.

My biggest ones as 125pts and 89pts (both before double points). :j
  • According to this it's just the teabags at the moment.

I've bought enough tea to last until the bags reach their expiry date.

But I've also got some for an old friend who lives abroad and can't get decent tea. I always post a few gifts for her kids, but fill the box with packets of teabags instead of using paper or bubblewrap. This time it was Tesco Finest Tea! 50 points a go for me too.

That's amazing! I thought my 34 points one the other day was impressive!

You need to be careful doing this, the customer service desk can get them to close you clubcard account down for it as it is classed as fraud or obtaining property by deception. I know this is pushing it to the far end but just so you know.

I'm aware of that, that's why I only do one or two a fortnight as I mentioned and was discussed above.

Can't see it posted anywhere so here goes. In store you now get 100 extra CC points when you buy any 3x 200ml Head and Shoulders at £1.84 each.If you assume 33 points per bottle then the shampoo is actually costing £1.84 - (33 x 4) = 52p a bottle if you use points for deals making it cheaper than own brand. The shelf labels suggest 100 points per bottle unless there is very small print I missed but it is 3 bottles for the 100 points. If someone braver than me fancies arguing the case about the signage (In Chichester anyway) then feel free but I am happy with the points and getting the real thing for cheap.

    Edit - online as well

    Hi

Not sure if this is the right spot, but I note that if you open a Tesco instant access savings account, and as far as I can see as long as you have a balance of £1000 on the 28th Feb 2010 you get 500 points.

    £3000 = 1000 points

    £10,000 = 15000

I will be going for the 1000 points, timing it to have the money there for a few days before and then taking it out a day after.

Does anyone see any catches in this?

  • New offer, buy any three Head and Shoulders 200ml shampoos or conditioners and get 100 points. These are £1.84 each so that's 100 points for a £5.52 spend. Think its only on for a couple of weeks so stock up now and be dandruff free for years!:j

It is 1,500 points for £10k, not 15000. They have done this promo before, so I'm sure people will be able to let you know if there were any hitches last time.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
