Does this make me a trend setter? I post this deal then it is posted again twice in the next 4 posts! :rotfl:

And, you need 3 bottles for the deal - not one.
  • Just had an email - 1000 extra points on selected games consoles on tesco direct , not sure if the prices are any good, and offer ends 25th December

  • Watch out if you get a 120 points if you spend a tenner on a bottle of french wine. I used mine of the champagne that is £10 from £23, and it didn't work. The checkout supervisor said, "you bought champagne, not wine." I had to explain that champagne is a type of wine, like lambrini. (I wanted her to understand).

A Tesco employee understanding ....... I had to explain that treble meant 3 and not 4, which was why they could not pull my order up.

I still think the employee was confused when I left!! Oh well!!

Champaign is a type of wine, but in supermarkets they usually are classed as different for offers. Does the voucher say anything about not including sparkling or fortified wines? Or that it can not be used with any other offer?

No - it just said French wine, so I was definitely in the right. :rotfl:

If you look at the last voucher on the page sent out it offers 750 points if you spend £50 on wine OR champagne so I presume they are classing them as different. In that case you might not be in the right.  :rotfl: :rotfl: :T

It wasn't that voucher. It was one for 120 points off a bottle of French wine at £10 or more.

But I was showing that wine and Champagne were classed differently at Tesco. Might not be right but that is what they do.
