Hi everyone. I've just seen one instore but it expires today. £5 lego boxes with 200 Clubcard Points. They had 3 left in my store so I bought them all and am going to give them to a kids charity.
I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but as they are only open for a few hours, I thought it best to post rather than search for somebody elses post!0 -
Hi
Tesco grocery today offering 500 extra points on line to order five different items, similar to last year if i remember right, christmas food and gifts mainly. I ordered mine, total came to just over £15!0 -

It says that we'll still receive the statement in Feb as normal - and the vouchers are valid until 28/2/12 so anyone saving them up won't lose out! :j
"With the help of double points, you've already earned these vouchers. But if you'd rather save them until February when we'll send you the rest of your vouchers as normal, thats fine - they won't expire until 2012, so it's really up to you"0 -
I can't remember who mentioned it but basically if you see someone else's Tesco receipt and it has a barcode at the bottom it means that they haven't registered it against their clubcard.
Basically, to cut a long story short, I got a bit addicted to this and collected about 1500 points during the last quarter from other people's receipts.
Anyway, it seems that after the double points have been introduced Tesco have changed the rules. The new rules are:
1) You can only claim 2 receipts at once
2) They have to be within 2 weeks of the date they were issued?
Does anyone know if this is new Tesco policy, or is it that they recognise my face and don't want me to eat my way through tonnes of pizza express goodies? :rotfl:0 -

It has been Tesco policy for quite a while now.
What you're doing is generally referred to as 'wombling'. Tesco do not like this practice and if they suspect what you are doing you are likely to get banned from the store.0 -

Mr Carterthis is commonly known as 'wombling', some people have been done for this and had points taken off by Tesco! This policy has been in place for a while...
2p off is still 2p off!0 -
Didn't realise that. I better stop now anyway. I felt a bit seedy doing it anyway! Thanks for the heads up!0

I do it but only every now and again, maybe once a fortnight and only if the receipt is for 6 points or more!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -
For further clarification, this is the exact wording on the latest vouchers leaflet:
"With the help of double points, you've already earned these vouchers. But if you'd rather save them until February when we'll send you the rest of your vouchers as normal, thats fine - they won't expire until 2012, so it's really up to you"

looks like competition is hotting up, also i think due to feedback they're starting to understand that not everyone is happy that vouchers are only sent quarterly
personally im happy with 4 times a year, infact id prefer to let them build up them redeem them once or twice a year0 -
