When my DD was little she loved The Gruffalo, Dear Zoo, Peebo but her favourite was "Where is my yellow zebra"

My 3YO (3 last week) has, for the last year, been interested primarily in the Thomas the Tank Engine books, the little ones the same size as Mr Man books. (Have also got Mr Man books but they only get a passing glance). We used to read 3 a night, then we read 2 & talked about the pictures in the 3rd, now he doesn't want us to read to him at all but wants us to sit with him whilst he "reads" the picures to us!
We keep trying to tempt him with other books but can't budge him off of Thomas but I guess it isn't doing him any harm, as long as they are interested in the book I think that is the most important thing at this stage, rather than the actual content.
